hi every bloggie

It's been awhile since I posted. I'm trying to catch up with all of you. As the Pawdance Film Festival came to an end, I rendered a decision to award all winners and not declare a top flick. With that said, Miss Sunshade felt I unduly implied that I suspected she cheated. Rest assured that is not the case. Unfortunately the voting can not be tightly controlled by anyone and based on my analysis of the voting, I rendered a decision I believe was the most fair. I do continue to this day to have a lack of confidence in votes tallied and stand by my decision that all category winners should be awarded. The last thing I wanted to create was a storm of drama and conflict in our wonderful blogging community. Unfortunately there were some misunderstandings and Miss Sunshade felt I accused her unfairly and questioned her integrity. That was not my intent, most definitely. I hope we can just live with the fact that there was multiple winners.

Let's move on. I made a new friend. I tried to play bitey face but mom wouldn't let me.

I guess I can't have fun no matter what I do.

  3. Hmmm... I didn't notice any names mentioned... whatever! The Pawdance Festival was great and we thought your executive decision, with regard to the winning film was Pawsome also.
Stumpy is waiting for her trophy and a big cash award!

Oh, I didn't know that turtles were REAL.. I thought they were just stuffie toys.

  7. Hi Norwood!! Your two-legger sounds just like mine... "leave him" "leave him." They just don't understand! I have lots of questions for these interesting friends - how do you keep all of your biscuits and stuffies inside that tiny house? how do you get a good roll when you have to carry everything with you? etc. etc. My mom always acts like I'm about to do anything naughty. Hahahahaa... Looks like you had a little fun despite being held back a bit.

I don't know anything about the voting, but I do know that we enjoyed watching the videos immensely!

  12. Norwood, did you ask that guy his name? I think it might be my friend from a couple of summers ago, Tony the Turtle.

Good to see you even if Mom didn't want to let you play.

  16. Leave it, leave it... gosh whenever we find something fun it's like a tape player-leave it! BAH

My mama made a staement once regarding pawlitics(saying dog blogs, SHE felt, were not the place to go on about it-during the 08 elections.) She mentioned not one name-had a very large response agreeing. And 1 person(who had finally come over for an award) said guess I can't have it anymore. GEEEEEEZ NO NAMES. To this day, after mom asked to be friends again, nope nada. FAHGET ABOUTEM(and my 4th grade teacher used to say"throw a stone into the dark, the guilty dog will always bark"
(If sunshade reads this no accusation. just a fun film festival. cmon.)
I think you did the right thing Norwood. Can we be part of eyewatch Friday??? (assuming the secretary stays with it.)

  22. Such a fuss. I frankly found the final competition most vexing because momma said I didn't have the best entry and almost wouldn't even let me vote for myself so I was totally relieved when you awarded all the finalists as winners.

You were acting like a bully with that poor turtle. Made mom have to use stern voice. Not good. Shape up, buddy. Stick with more funballs pals like Tula.

  24. Oh Norwwod - as I've said again and again, the best fun about the Pawdance Film Festival was the PARTICIPATING!!! Who cares about winning?? That's not the point anyway! And besides, we ALL enjoyed watching all the videos - even if we did or didn't vote - whatever. Anyway I think you did a BRILLIANT job of hosting the festival and please don't let all this fuss get you down - I think you did the right thing about the voting in the end and it's nice just to have winners in different categories - after all, we're all different right? And if they were all different categories, then it would have been hard to compare Apples & Pears (it's like I never understand the Best in Show thing - how can you compare like a Toy Poodle to a Irish Wolfound??) -

ANyway, I made some great new friends through PFF so I want to say THANK YOU again for an awesome competition and blog event and I really hope you will host it again next year as I've already got ideas for new movies! :-)

    Slobbers,
    Honey the Great Dane

  25. ps. oh Norwood - I just posted a new movie on my blog which would have been PERFECT for your Mystery & Suspense category - come over and check it out - what do you think?! :-) Wished I had thought it to submit during the PFF! If you run it again next year, I'm definitely submitting this one!
