Camera Critters #47- Mon ami, coeur d'un lion

Hello! I almost forgot to tell you about my new friend. 

I met him a couple weekends ago during my walk along the 

Charles River. No, it's not my trusty faithful mr. fuzzball friend 

that I bring everywhere. (he's in my mouth if you can't see it)

From Charles River- Soldier's Field Walk His name is MacGruff. He saw me running around the baseball field and decided he wanted to chase me. I chased him, he chased me..  I think you get the picture. If not, here it is. From Charles River- Soldier's Field Walk   His full name is MacGruff Coeur D'un Lion. If you look closely.  Go ahead get close. You will see a brown patch by his hind leg.   Go ahead.. look. What shape is it? Yep, you're right.  It's the shape of a heart.  So his dad said his full name is  Heart of the Lion.  I don't have a fancy name like that..  but I have just as much heart. how to aim.  We ARE sitting still. Look at that focus. Geesch!

Eyes Wide Shut

Hello. 

I had day camp today. I am waiting for my dinner but I can't seem to keep my eyes open.  

Must not fall asleep.. dinner is coming .. dinner is coming... but this shoe is a nice pillow. Makes me... zzzz. 

Playing bitey face all day can really wear you out. 

Rain+ Stinky boy= Mango Madness

Yes, it's still winter not spring.  The day brought a nice cold rain. 

That didn't stop me from going to the Assabet River Trail. Here- I will profile for you at the river. I think this is my best side. 

Wait a minute..  this is my best side?  Just kidding. 

Look! the walking conditions were not fun. My bandana got wet. I was soaked.  The rain was relentless.  My mom was mumbling stuff the whole walk.. meanwhile I went about my business.

 

When I returned home, I did  the traditional dry off zoomies, and then I had to freshen up. I didn't have a date so why?  My mom mumbled again something like phew! stinky boy!

Luckily, I didn't have to take a bath. I have this wonderful body scent... Mango Madness.  I think it could be Mango Minister's eau de toilette?  But then again, I don't think he smells fruity.. maybe not.  I now,at least, smell good. I tried to make this post a scratch and sniff but technology has not advanced that far yet.  

Camara Critters- I was Hijacked for a Day of Fun!

Hi- It's me Norwood.

 

I haven't shared much with you but I have a cousin named Tula.  We know each other but never really met besides from a distance. Well one day I was loose and ran up to her. Being me, I thought she wanted to play and jumped on her head. She didn't like it. I didn't know.  I still want to play with her though. 

Tula is learning how to be around other dogs without being fearful or upset.  She is in training for reactive dogs and our goal is one day to be able to walk together and be friends. I hope to post about it one day. 

Let's see Tula, 5 things about Tula:

1-She loves to give kisses. (according to my mom, a bit sloppy)

2-Has webbed feet.. I think she's part duck.

3-She hops like a rabbit when she gets a treat... but doesn't chase rabbits.

4- Her nickname is Monstah! She is 100lbs (don't tell her I told u)

5- She's never been upside down. 

She is a beautiful large in charge kind of Akita girl. 

Well this past week in MA is February break for all the schools-no school for a full week. Tula's mom, my Aunt Dee was off and decided to hijack me for a day of fun. See she posted this nice message about our fun on her blog, check it out-tula monstah: HiJacked Blog

Sky Watch Friday ..Shades & Shapes of blue over the Charles

I ventured out to the Charles River-Soldier Field in Boston-actually closer to Cambridge near Harvard University. The sky changed from gray to light shades of blue.  It was a chilly spring like day for winter.  

I just love going to new parks. I love watching everything. My mom says I have a staring problem. See I can win any staring contest.  Here let's go..... start staring at me.  Ha! You looked away! I win. 

Here's a geometric view of the Charles River. The warmer weather broke the ice into these neat shapes floating on top the river.  The poor ducks.. how can you swim in that? 

I like to swim but no no no.. my mom wouldn't let me. 

So I met up with Mr. Seal.  See, I can pose like him too. 

  And take a listen to my seal call.

Pretty good don't you think? It at least showered me with sunbeams.

Mundane Monday

Not much to say, it's Monday. If you look close you will recognize grass-usually I have a complete snow backdrop. Yes, I was able to step on grass this weekend. I really miss grass-even if it is more brown. Have a good day!

Fuzz Ball Fun- Camera Critters

I had good dog 101 class yesterday and guess what?  My trainer Paul told my mom to buy me a toy to use for class.  So being a great student, I went out right after class and bought this new fuzz ball.  

I immediately thought it looked like one of my offspring.. we match. 

Then I went into my terrier kill mode.  Shake Shake Shake!  I think it's dead!

Oh no.. all the killing brought out.. Mr. Bizerko! I sprinted toward the field with my fuzzball. 

I am charging right at you! and you still can't grab it!

Watch! I can shake it and gallop at the same time.  

And finally, Mr. Bizerko showing off his latest feat of killing.  Well done!
