help wanted

hi every bloggie!
Due to some recent events, I am being forced to place an ad for part time help. See for yourself why.
Here is the actual ad placed today in the Norwood's World Journal.
Send your resume to norwoodunleashed@gmail.com. Salary is negotiable.

And onto a more important event. As mentioned last week, the australian cattle dogs division of the dogs w/blog have joined forces to raise funds for the
New Hope Cattle Dog rescue. We have published a calendar! Yahoo! It's done and ready for purchase.

Yep- Stumpy, the Happy Heelers, Velcro, Wyatt Twirp, Charlie Daniels, Neve & Rugers and MOI are featured. The cost is $19.99- $6 going to New Hope and the remaining cost is for printing and the site host lulu.com.

Please consider either sharing the message or buying a calendar. Click on the image to go to the site and preview the calendar. There is also a sharing option along with the preview to send or post. We hope you consider it! If you can't own a heeler, this is the next best option!

lite bright walkies

hi every bloggie!
One thing I love about Christmas is that the neighborhoods are much more interesting for my walkies. Come along with me..
Here's one of my favorites! I think I would be a good star atop of the tree.. oh without the googlie eye? I thought the googlie eye made me sparkle.
O Christmas tree O Christmas Tree! I want to get up close to pee.
Now this year the fancy snowman and presents are all the rage. Everyone has them. I give it 2 paws up. Sparkly and fun.
See for yourself. Sparkly and cute.
Personally, I like them better than these big blow up decorations that recently hit every lawn. Those scare me. Even though the snowman wanted a hug.. I wouldn't get near him.

Now there are many people who want to be traditional. White lights. Although pretty.. we want color!
This house was all decked out. Deck the halls- the foto really doesn't show it well.
I think I even look better in the lights!

the santa debacle

hi every bloggie!

Merry Christmas to you! Oh.. you are listening to my favorite Christmas song. Yep it has to do with BELLS! Ring those Christmas Bells! Click play to enjoy!

okay so like ..... all... day I was waiting and waiting for Santa.
I looked all around for that jolly ole soul. I even wore my santa hat bandana! Nadah Nothing
I know I made the good boy list.. ahem I think. Then I saw this on the Norad Santa Tracker.
Oh no.. Tula and Mango are pulling the sleigh. No wonder he didn't stop. They probably never made it beyond the Mass Pike. WTF? Santa use Sibes or reindeers not MOOSE!

Oh well.. come closer. I happen to be under the mistle toe.
Merry Kissmas! I hope you have the best Christmas!

cast your vote now! polls close dec 23rd

hello every bloggie!
Breaking news. This just in hot off the press. The dogs with blogs cattle dog division has a new job. No sheep involved. Nope.  My australian cattle dog pals and I have decided to do something good this holiday season. Yeppers! we are producing a calendar on lulu.com to raise funds for the New Hope Cattle Dog rescue.  It was that fine heeler girl in dirtville Stumpy who came up with the idea and now we have recruited nothing but the finest heelers in the dog blogland.  Of course, the Happy Heelers (Gus, Louie, Callie), Velcro,  Neve and Rugers ,newcomer Wyatt Twirp and hopefully Charlie Daniels will be featured in the calendar sporting our finest heeler attributes.  I feel honored since I'm not a full blown heeler. I happen to be mixed with a bit of terrier but still well accepted in the cattle dog community.

Anywho... that meant only one thing.I had to do a photo shoot for the calendars. More modeling, I know. But I need your dog blog help.   I can't decide which winter shot to submit for Mr. December.  Which one do you like best?

#1- Heelers have a great perspective on life

#2- Heelers know how to have fun

#3 Heelers are irresistible

#4- Heelers know when to heel

#5 Heelers always watch out for you!

#6- Heelers make me smile

Cast your vote now. Polls close on December 23rd.

it's finally here!

hi every bloggie!
Yesterday we waited and waited and waited. The eastern seaboard blizzard was suppose to my area in the afternoon. So I looked up into the sky and saw Miss Khyra's sissy Kyrye looking down at me. She knew I wanted snow.

And finally, the pay off. When I woke up.. this is what it looked like outside!

I couldn't believe my eyes!

It brought out the googlie eyeball too!

Here's a taste of my walk this morning... brucethecat in florida- please put your ear muffs and mittens on at this point.
Disclaimer for video quality- The camera assistant isn't very good with walking, filming and keeping the flashlight on me, so please bare with me.  She works for free. You get what you pay for I guess.

Thanks Miss Kyrye for the snow! You are our snow angel.

trail time tuesday

hi every bloggie!
Not much going on today, so I thought I'd take you on the trail with me.
Be careful on the this agility course, the log bridge is delicately placed on top of a mud pit. It's load of fun when you fall into it.

And now.. some artsy views of the trail!
Abandoned home.
Ice balls .... not harry this time and these are not fun.
A winter sky... it'll be here for a while.. ho hum.
