It's Friday so you know what that means?!! It's eYewatch Friday!

Here we go.  Here's my up-close eyeball shot. 

It seems my eyebrows are over powering. I might need to trim them up? What do ya think? Okay Easy Peasey. 

Now time for the challenge. This week is the Muppet Show edition.  Remember this great tv show about all our favorite animals?

july is national ice cream month

Hello every bloggie!

I've been waiting and waiting for the announcement. I thought for sure Maggie and Mitch would break the news! But I will do the honors for this historic day! 

On July 9, 1984, President Ronald Reagan proclaimed July National Ice Cream Month and designated the third Sunday in July as National Ice Cream Day. Not to be confused with Ice Cream Day, National Ice Cream Day falls on July 19th this year. So July has to be one of my favorite Months!

I know many of my bloggie friends love ice cream.. like Eric the Square who just made his sweetie Toffee a special mix from Ben and Jerry's.  Maggie and Mitch eat it every day! Look at the hypno eyes above. I think Mitch has a masterful tongue technique for getting every drop in a dairy queen dish.  I'm wondering.. what is favorite flavor and what that says about you. not really wordless wednesday- frogger edition

Instructions:  Look for the big peeper- I named him Uncle Larry! See him? He's always peeping out from the lily pads!

This has turned into a game.  See him below me in the yellow patch? Come on, put on your frog hunting glasses!

Look hard but he's right in the middle sitting on a pad!

And voila! a Face 2 Face encounter!

The live edition is more fun than the arcade game. PS no frogs were harmed in this game.

hello every bloggie! 

The other day I went out to hike a new trail. I drive by the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge all the time- nice place to try-right? I'm wild. Looks like a perfect place for me!  But once I arrived, this sign  was posted all over the place. What's wrong with MA?  Can't go to the beaches in the summer! Can't go to wildlife areas?

I guess there is alot of these gobblers around and hunting is permitted.  Despite my standard glow wear, I will stay clear of the area.  My hunting is done au natural.  

So I headed out on a walk through the neighborhood. It's a lovely area but it was humid out. I wonder how far down it is to get a drink of water?  I was quickly reminded to move on. 

But then this guy quickly caught my attention!  He's the biggest one I've ever seen! Ribbit ribbit!

He seemed nice so I decided to leave him a present.  But look-mom is ready to pick it up.  Why is this a photo op?  Ridiculous! Now you all have witness me doing the doo doo.  Whoopdeedo! do!

And then we hit the park area.  If you remember- during the winter this is the site where mom had a moment of stupidity... locking her keys in the car.  Look how nice and green it is now.  

Now the good stuff... you can see me in action.

Whew! Time for a drink! Good thing I have my assistant bring water.

It was a fun day after all!  It's hard work making me tired!

hello every bloggie! 

I can't believe it was finally a beautiful day here in MA! and perfect timing for the 4th of July!

 

Look at the sky! It hasn't been like this for a month! I took a few pictures just in case we get another month of rain. 

So.. mom decided to do "human only" 4th of July fun today.  She went into Boston for the Harborfest.

Enjoy some of the sights along the Long Wharf, the North End, Faneuil Hall and Harborfest exhibits. I do want to point out there were some DOGS around. I don't know why I couldn't go.  No fair!

Then this cute girl came to watch me play with my frog friends.  She kept play bowing at me and I continued to hunt frogs instead.  You can say I'm a bit of a frog addict.  

oh well... Don't forget to visit Pet Pride and  Purr4Peace today @ 3pm EST.  I can't purr but I try!  Confucius Cat has declared me an honorary cat today due to my grrs  to purr efforts! See I'm part kitty cat today!

Happy 4th of July!  What does this holiday mean to me?
