Camera Critters- Spring Fevah = Trouble

From hey-spring fevah 3-6-09
Hi there! I have great news. It was 54 degrees yesterday.  So I went to good dog 101 u class and then headed out to the park. Mr. Bizerko must be released after an hour of good behavior. My mom knows or she pays the price. Besides it was finally feeling like spring. We headed to a place we passed by many times but never stopped.  YEAH! Today was the day!

We arrived.  I scanned and held my sniffer out the window. HMMM new smells, big field, even a dog station! It was meant to be.  My mom changed her shoes and then did the unthinkable! She closed the car door and yep LOCKED THE KEYS INSIDE.  I WAS INSIDE.

She kept trying to talk to me... I was P.O.ed.  Wait I'm gonna say it. Pissed off. I can't even look at her.

So thankfully Fun Aunt Dee was home.  She was called to save the day.  She thinks the warm weather not only affected me but my mom has lost her mind too.  Is it that hard to remember your car keys?  Look my mom is happy that I was saved and released.  I just want to get to the field.

Now it's time for Fun! Of course I ran into a border collie mix and lab/sharpei/beagle mix. Hi guys! My name is Norwood.

And... there off.  Look at my brilliant speed.  I can run with the best of them.  Mr. Bizerko out -witness it for yourself.

Then I said hi to their mom.  Keisha the border collie mix was not happy with my greeting style. She kept blocking me and yapping instructions at me.  So bossy.

Well all's well that ends well.  My spring fevah episode ended in an afternoon nap hiatus.  My mom's brain lapse is a whole different story.

  4. Dear Norwood, WHEW! And yes, seriously, is it so hard to remember to take the keys out? The other day our Humans left us in the car when they were at the Whole Food store. Well after a while we were like, Humans, we are bored and we are ready to roll. So we set off the car alarm. The Humans came running out of the store looking even crazier than normal (which is truly saying something) and screaming and waving their groceries around and we are like, What? Two Paws UP for Fun Aunt Dee! Love, your PaLs, LuLu and LoLLy! http://www.luluandlolly.com

  11. OH NO!! Your poor mom was probably so worried about you in there.

Our mom has locked her keys in the car many times. None with us yet, though but we are sure it will happen sooner or later.

You have a huge park to run and play in! Don't let that border collie scare you, we can be a little high strung at times.

    Lots of Luv & Kisses

  19. wow, you had quite an adventure. we're sure glad that your Fun Aunt was available to save the day. that would have been terrible if you hadn't been able to get out of the car to play.

we can so relate to the nap at the end of the day. we do the exact same thing when we come home from playing at the dog park.

    woofs.

  20. So glad you were rescued by your auntie. While it is still cooler out we get to go everywhere with mommy & dad. We had a little insident on Friday night while waiting in the car too.(You can read about it on Mom's blog: inamazinggraceland.blogspot.com) It was quite awful, but BabyRD couldn't help herself. I'll say no more. Sorry BabyRD! XO-Hootie

  21. Phew! Thank goodness your Auntie had a spare set of keys handy. I was worried you might be stuck in the car for hours, then you'd just have to go home without getting to play in that great field of snow.

It's like when we go to the dog run and Mommy forgets to bring my ball. I mean, what's up with that?

    Your pal,

    Petey
