hello every bloggie!I received many comments about my visit to the cape.. thank goodness I took more pictures. I guess Clive the Autistic Assistant Dog's humans will be heading to Boston and the Cape this weekend. And Phantom and Thunder's mom is from this area.. reliving some fond memories from the photos. Well, here you go! My blog photographer took many more to share.
First off ! The most important thing to do is make paw stamps. Look at mine! I'm not allowed on the beach but across from it was sand dunes! I LOVE IT! I stamped all over and wrote my name! Yeah you know it! I was here!
Everywhere I looked ! Sand crab holes! I pounced around, hopping in the air like a gazelle! Trying to catch one. Look at my focus- determination ! I know I can catch one. Anyone out there ever catch a sand crab? Do tell.
I never hunted one before so not sure if my gazelle leap is the appropriate technique. My blog photographer doesn't seem to think so....

I started singing " Catch a wave and you're sitting on top of the world!"
And then we drove along part of the race course which is beautiful. In the distance and up close the Nobska lighthouse and beach!
I'm still looking to jump in.... someday.. after summer beach rules end, I will.
A dog has got to have dreams!
Love it. This is the second blog I come across that is written from a dog's point of view. Mr. Puppydog is beautiful as are your pictures.

My humans used to live on the Cape. They said the doggies can go swimming late-- after the life guards leave. The beach looks great.

That looks like a fun place to play. Our mum says she recognizes the lighthouse from a packet of chips...whatever that means...
ReplyDeleteYour mom should join the coast guard and then you could live in a light house and protect the ocean and eat sand crabs all day. That would be great.

Your Mom is going to have such a beautiful run there Norwood. I LOVE these photos & love the sound of the waves! Too bad you couldn't go on the beach...it's not fair when they put up signs like that. The beach & the ocean should belong to everybody, not just the home owners.

Hi Norwood..you sure have a nice Mom to take you to such cool places. Hope you can catch one of those sand crabs next time, but don't let him bite you on the nose!

Such a relaxing sound, the sound of the ocean!!! Thanks for sharing that. We have not only never caught a sand crab, we have never even been to a beach. Mom has cousins that live in West Dennis and one of these summmers we will have a big family reunion. Not sure us pups will get to go unless somehow we move closer to the coast:(

ReplyDeletewoohoo more fun photos! we LOOOOOOVE the beach. here in Seattle dogs are not allowed on the beach either (WHATEVER) but mom sneaks us on sometimes. hehehe but there are other beaches around that do allow dogs. we are excited to move to california though, mom says theres a huge dog park there on a beach!!!
