hi every bloggie!
oh boy it's been awhile!
I'm finally posting about the boston marathon
and that was almost a month ago!
Every year me and momma go to watch it.
See us!
My Fun Aunt Dee comes too.
My favorite spot to watch the race is
at the half way point. 13.1 mile marker in Wellesley
Go runners!!
I had lots of friends to cheer on....
Nancy, Theresa, Adam & Rebecca, Matt, Julie, J-Rock.
Okay gotta watch thousands of runners go by...
I watched and watched for them
but got side tracked.
Lots of nice people wanted to scratchies me.
Can't pass that up.
Oh yeah... back to the race.
Each year a few troops walk the course in full gear.
Look at that backpack. Whoa!
Salute to you!
Okay ready to see the race!
Here we go!
Momma says next time we shouldn't stand
in front of the bagel shop.
Seems I get a bit distracted.
Oh man...we got super tired just watching all those people run by!! That little toddler was funny when you tried to kiss her! Looks like you had a fun time...if only you would have gotten some bagels!!

If my mom were running that one, she'd still be on the khourse!

ReplyDeleteI loved the video!
And all the kisses you gave to that little girl too!
Have a great day!
Kisses and hugs

Cool as a moose!! We are surprised your mama or auntie weren't running in it since they are such physically fit gals! You look like you were enjoying yourself.

ReplyDeleteWe love the way you cheer! Thanks for that top notch report from the front line at the marathon - we feel like we were there!
Sam and Pippen
OH my I bet that backpack weighs a ton! That sure looked like a great race! Hope you had fun.
ReplyDeleteNorwood, the marathon looked great fun and such a good report from you too!

Gosh, you were just about a mile or so away from where my momma was stuffing her face with Grandma and Grandpa during the marathon. Maybe next year you can go with them and get snacks instead of being tortured in front of the bagel store.

Mango
Congratulations to all those who participated in the Boston Marathon! What an exciting day it must have been for you Norwood!
ReplyDeleteyour cat pal,
Bruce:)
I can tell that it was a very much Nap producing experience.
ReplyDeleteThat do be the pawsomest marathon moovie I has efur seened. OK, well the only one, so fur sure, the pawsomest. I mean, who say you has to just stand and watch the runners. That would get boring and you would has to nap. You, Norwood, provided a full eggsperience by showing us skritch mooching, scent sniffing, nom searching - you gibbed us the full marathon package, BRAVO! Hey, did you see the frogs I founded fur you in Furginia? They be here: http://shawneetheshep.blogspot.com/2011/05/hiking-vacation-day-5-part-2.html

Bagels, did you say bagels??? Mom is trying to remember the name of the bagel shop she loved in Boston. They had the best selection and they were huge!!! Her mouth is watering for one now because they really don't know how to make good bagels here.
ReplyDeleteWe also saw you dancing with Tula and Mango - what teamwork:)
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
She remembered - Finagle A Bagel:)
ReplyDeletelooking good sandy
ReplyDeleteLookin' mighty good in you blue nana-dana, Nordude. I'm surprised that all of the runners didn't stop and give you a belly scratch OR even buy you a bagel. Who can resist your charmballs???
ReplyDeleteWoofs and bagel slobbers,
Chester ;0=)
That's not right. Set up shop in front of a bagel shop, and not give you a bagel. I'd be distracted too. ;)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great time.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are backed up in posting like we are. :)
