Gosh! I have big big news!

This week I'm raffling off prizes to peeps and dog blog pals who help out.

You guys know I run and walkies all the time. Every day I log miles for Charity Miles to earn money for different charities. Last year I logged over 1000 miles!   So one of the Charity Miles organizations, Pencils of Promise  emailed me. They said we were one of their top walkers and offered a race entry to the NYC Half Marathon Pencil of Promise team. We were so honored, we accepted immediately! So being on the team, we did commit to raising $2000. The money raised goes to building schools in areas of need. Giving a gift of education! 

I'm helping out. I'm training with my momma. See! Even in the super cold temps, I make sure she gets her training run in with me

Better yet,  I'm also helping out with raising donations! 

Every day this week, I will raffle off a prize to any one who donates (any amount) on the day of the prize posted. My friends at MetLife gave me a few fun Snoopy prizes. Since this weekend is the last dayz of summer

I have to hurry up and finish posting my funtimes

from the last couple weeks.

I'm on the Falmouth Shining Sea Trail for a 5 mile run.

Momma was running in the Falmouth road race

and had me train her for it.

You know what's funny?

The Shining Sea trail was named after the song

"America the Beautiful" written Falmouth born Katharine Lee Bates.

My Fun Aunt Dee works at Bates Elementary- named after her too.

She wasn't happy b/c it reminded her back to skool is near.

Well first off woo have to stretch!

Okay come on! time for sprints!

It was in the high 80s so momma made sure

I got to take many swim breaks.

she thinks I look like old nelly the lochness monster

when I swimballs.

I even found a cool side trail to explore.

Good thing no guns- I forgot to wear my orange.

It was furry fun and shaded a bit.

See there's the salt marsh.

I didn't get in it though.

momma said no hunting rules.

Finally we were done running and

I hit the beach.

Sand in the toe toes.

introducing the new norwood vid-cam

hi every bloggie!

This weekend it was pretty wet and rainy so I didn't go on any trails.

Instead I went running with my momma both days.

Here's me and momma.

Okay- whopeedeedoo. That's nothing new.

But what is new is my norwood vid cam- the muvi veho mini dv camcorder

It's super small and clips right onto my harness!

Yep- woos can get fast action video from moi!

Note from momma- it's a 4min movie and if you get motion sickness-
this will do the trick.

Note from me- I think you will enjoy running with me even if you get dizzy.

I hope woo are okay.

After I'm done, I get to cool off and hang out in the snow.

It was 57 degrees- a heat wave !!!

Last weekend the snowballs melted and finally the sidewalks were clear

so Momma decided to take me along on her run.

I thought, hey pawfect time to put on my norwood cam.

Ready? Here we go!!!

We quickly ran to the downtown area.

There's quite a bit of traffic and furry important that woo wait for cars.

There's my momma.

Sometimes I like to put on the brakes so I can check pee-mail.

It's kinda funny because I jolt her a bit. hee hee

Jeepers... waiting for the traffic to stop.

I thought pawdestrians had the right away.

Woo this is one of my favorite places!

Remember this summer when grand pappy came to visit?

We went there. That's the Hudson's Roast Beef and Wings Joint.

Fond memories. (lipper licking good stuff)

That's the barber. He's usually open super early.

Whew... kinda glad he's closed. Don't want someone to get a crazy idea.

I always get stuck at this intersection... ho hum.

Nothing I really want from there.

eYewatch friday around town

It's freYeday! TGIF and it's time for another edition of eYewatch.

This week's edition is all around my town. You see, last weekend I went for a run and cut right downtown to see if the lights were still on... (it was about to break dawn)

Tahdahh... downtown Hudson MA. There in the middle is one of those dumb rotaries that Masterchewsitts happens to love. Mom grumbles every time we hit it. It's like a speedway around and no one lets you on or off without death defying acts. Well enough about that.. see on the top of the left building, the lights are actually SANTA! I guess he's watching over me.. humpf!

Okay here's me live in eYewatch around town action.

Quick stop to eYe up some window shopping. I'm furry serious about it.

Lookie! eYe spotted this sign! Happy Festivus to you all!

The last 1/2 mile I get to go off leash. It was super cold but no snow yet. Jeepers so I closed my eYes and dreamed really hard.... Lookies! It worked! I was dashing!

Then I wished even harder. eYes were set on the breakfast of champions.

Yep we went thru the DD drive thru! Arooo! Happy eYewatch!

norwood on the run

hi every bloggie!

On the weekends, I go running. Yep. Not just my daredevil dashes at Tula. Not just zoomies in the field and on the trail. Not just leashed walkies thru the neighborhood but actual runs w/ mom.

You see, we have a deal though.

I must take a break at the half way point.

Honestly I do enforce it because we usually run 6 miles. That's far.

I guess it kinda looks like my leaf clean up services too. Huh?

Anywho, umm I was going thru old footage and thought I'd post my K9 trail race video. It's from way back in June. I don't think I shared it so why not now.... here's me crossing the finish line!

I think I deserve a break or a BUD! Run NORDUDE Run!
