Finter is Here

hi every bloggie Oh.. I almost forgot it is fall. Well not so much here in MA. We had a blast of cold weather. Look everything is frosted.
But the frost doesn't keep my devil dog ears from getting a rise. In fact I have a bit more zip to my zap in the cold weather.
Okay I have to appease my blog assistant with another... snooze.. leaf photo. Yep frosted leaf. Yippeedo dah.
I think the snowflakes that came drifting amidst the friday morning weather were captured better on my peanut head.
Whoa.. looks like a blizzard but not that bad. Had to defrost the car before heading to day camp. Mom had to bring out the mittens. Glad it did not necessitate my mittens yet-Whew!
See.. I was dusted with the flakes.
I think it means a new season has ushered in.
Yep.. I'm calling it FINTER

  2. Hi, Norwood!
It looks very cold there in MA!
Here its never too cold and we get snow every 25 years and the last time was in 1997 so I guess I am safe for a while!
Today we had 100 degrees... seems like a "never end" summer season!
    Have a great sunday!
    Kisses and hugs

  3. Sheesh, that looks chilly. Just as well the zappy gets more zippy when the chilly is on or else it wouldn't be any good, would it now, with no froggies around and all and all that frost...

  5. Send some snow this way! We are keeping well - no, Gunny has not had health problems - our canoe partner who walks, for the most part, on 2 legs is the one who fell ill over summer. Thanks for asking!

  6. Who are you calling a moose you little insane cracker dog snow loving made of rubber beastie?

My mom is so proud of herself that she has not used her mittens yet, but she did break out her official winter coat and is taking forever to put all her outside clothes on.

I looked out the window and I think we will be spending the day watching football and napping.

  7. Hi Norwood - that's a great name for this time of year! We had frost here too this morning - we were quite startled! We mainly dislike this time of year for the shorter days, we find it really confusing. But we don't think we've had it as cold as you have - no mittens on the humans yet, he he! Wow that's lots of snow. I had to explain your shots to Calvert; who's never seen snow or experienced winter. This will be his first and the short days are confoosing him as well.

We love the frosted leaf; you assistant has a great eye.
