eYewatch friday- sad eYes

hi every bloggie! Free Smiley Courtesy of www.millan.net

Whew what a long week but it's finally time for eYewatch friday. This week's edition ... are you ready.. get a tissue handy, it's sad eYes. Yes it's rare but on a few occasions I'm sad. See? Just pitiful.
Let me tell you what happened. One day I was minding my own bidness, galavanting the trail when a tree lobster taunted me and I chased him up a tree. Well there must've been a nest of bumble bees there. They got mad at me! As you can see I was totally shocked.
A few chased me and I got stung right on my BEE-Hind. Lookie.. this is the sadest boy you'll see on the trail.
Don't worry, I was fine after 15 minutes but totally milked it with mom for a good while. hee hee.
TGIF!

Oh message to the RH Mango.. taunting me with the tick tock comment- I'm still working on your entry. And you too have time to get your "I wanna be like Mango" entry in too! Due Sept 25- Saturday. For every entry, mango momma is donating green papers to Tufts doggie medicine skool

  5. Norwood! I have never seen you so subdued. You are moving at mastiff speeds. How insulting to get stung on your bottom.

  17. A sad Norwacked???? I wouldn't have thought it possible if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes!

Thank goodness you know to milk those occasions for all they are worth! It makes them more manageable!

  18. Oh Norwood - I know how bad beestings hurts! I had one on my nose once, and my whole snooter swelled up and got all wrinkly like and elephant's trunk. The vet said to take half a Benedryl; maybe a whole one. I've forgotten now, so don't take any til you talk to your vet. But... it fixed my nose heheh and I felt lots better. You poor dear - hope you are better now.
    Hugs xoxoxo

  19. Norwood - We feel for you, buddy! Aspen stirred up a hornet's nest trying to get her tennis ball and was covered in, like, a bajillion hornets. Had to take her to the vet for a shot, just to be on the safe side. Then, Cooper got too close to a bee's nest that Dad had apparently stirred up with the tractor and got stung on his behind. Just had to give him Benadryl, but he acted weird for a bit. Think it kinda skeered him. But the folks feel really bad about it and you can totally milk it for awhile (and get some treats out of the deal).
