autumn strikes a pose

hi every bloggie!

Well it's back to regular programming. I hope you all had a fun scare last week. Whew... back to business.

During off fright week season, I do serve as a most pawsome trail guide. A couple weekends ago, I went back to Danforth Falls to check out the fall foliage. It was a misty day and I was hoping to have the trail to myself.. sure enough I did! Wahoo. The last time I hiked Danforth Falls was in Spring. The buds weren't even budding yet but the water was rushing full speed. See my spring post #1 and post #2 here.

This time the trail was filled with color. Ahhh!

And the river was still and quiet. All I could here is leaves falling and crunching under my steps.

I was also super excited because K and R have this boulder stand challenge with the thundering herd. I spotted some along the river edge and thought this was it! I can get in on the funballs.

Of course the terrier in me must explore all openings.

Oh you want to get some live action. You know I aim to please! My middle name is live action! Ready?

Yes.. it is even better in person. Just look up into the sky!

And take another look downstream!

Oh course... mom took more than one video b/c she has a poor quality video app and hopes at least one turns out. Here's another live lookie.
See me bouncing around the big rocks! 4 paws are better than 2 legs- that's for sure.

Tahdah! What do ya think about this boulder stance. (I guess these rocks qualify as boulders)

And for today, I'll leave you reflecting.

Next post, is the lower end of the trail... stay tuned. Ahhhh fall is amazing.

  5. Those leaves can be quite noisy and make it hard to sneak up. I was kind of worried there might be critters lurking in those rocks. Be careful! Hey! Watch out for hunters too, OK?

  17. The colours are amazing. We get colour in our trees here in the upper Blue Mountains in Autumn but not near as much as you do. It's our favourite season.
