hot dogs in more than one way!

It's so hot here! It was ~80 degrees at night yesterday! Mango was sending out distress signals too! Whew! It's unbearable! but it doesn't mean the fun stops for me! Mom's co-worker had a cookout. He lives in New Hampshire! I heard he has bears, fisher cats, and other wildlife in his backyard. But this is all I saw. I think these creatures are called beer suckers.

This is Gary. He invited me over. His official breed type is called a vodka leech.

And finally some attention. Leave it to Tula's mom, Fun Aunt Dee to give me a treat. I know how to work her good.

And that's more like it. Photo sessions with me! This is Cathy. She thought I was a small dog until she met me. Couldn't get over my daddy long legs. I am one tall drink of water for my size.

And finally.. new fur friends. Taz is dog friendly. Me I'm chase friendly. I chased Taz under the house. Silly, it's so much cooler under there anyways.

But then he got brave. One lil swat and arched back at me and he thinks he's the boss.

Look at him messing with me. This game of hide and seek is fun though.

But it was too hot to keep it up. We headed over to the pool for a dip. The humans were more like buoys than swimmers. I went in but mom didn't get a photo. My practice with the frogs has paid off.

But I was a bit distracted by the two fuzzbutts who lived at the pool. Bo is the pomeranian and that's Max the shitzu. He was camera shy so mom only got his forehead. Nice work blog photographer. I thought you were a professional.

Finally the food bags go on! Hey! no seat at the table for me?? What kind of party is this?

Oh well I preferred the vinca! It made a nice place to pee and cool off on!

I was one hot dog hoping to get a hot dog at the cook out. No luck but lots of fun.
