hi every bloggie
I hope everyone had a super Memorial Day Weekend and took time out to thank and remember all our military heroes.
I hope everyone had a super Memorial Day Weekend and took time out to thank and remember all our military heroes.
Okay I'm a bit behind on blogging so let me take you back in time. Close your eyes. You are traveling back to last weekend. Here in Massachusetts it was hot in the 90s. But that didn't stop me from going to the Paws in the Park event to raise money for Save a Dog rescue.
The event was held at the historic Wayside Inn in Sudbury, MA.
I quickly walked around to sniff the sights and sounds.
So many dogs reminded me of my blog pals in bloggie land. See for yourself.
And of course there was alot of action packed entertainment.
Meanwhile I was a bit distracted. Pizza pie was in my center stage.
Go ahead and check out the frisbee show and you'll see for yourself I was totally into it.
Yep.. I'd catch the frisbee if it was a pizza pie!!!
Okay it was way too hot.
Wow, Norwood - that looked like the most awesome event! I especially liked the photo of the Bernese pulliong the cart!

That looks like so much fun! We have Bark in the Park here in the fall, but I'm not sure if they'll have it this year or not. I am in total envy of your exciting day! I hope you got some good gossip from those greyhounds!

Are you INSANE? It was hot like the surface of Mars that day! I thought about sending PeeWee to hang out with you, but figured he might explode what with being all black and everything.
ReplyDeleteI hope your brains didn't get too addled from being out in the sun all day. Those frisbee chasing dogs are pretty cool, huh.

ReplyDeleteWell, even if it wasn't managed well, I hope some dough (besides the pizza dough) was raised to help our homeless friends.
Woofs and well managed slobbers,

Wow - that looked like an amazing happening at such a beautiful place with that ancient greeter! It actually "looks" like it was hot, but you sure look cool! Love the bloggy-looking dogs - I recognized most of them!!! And the frisbee dogs are incredible - especially considering that heat! What a fun day! (Yeah that pizza looks good!)

Hi Norwood! It looks like it was a pretty fun time, except that it stinks it was so hot! And well, we think that you may have come up with an awesome new sport - pizza pie catching. We think that would be a fun and tasty event to join in!
ReplyDeleteI think they needed one of those misting shower feature things like amusement parks have. Just find a way to work it into colonial theme.
ReplyDeleteWe used to enjoy events like that in MN at the Ren Faire. Good Times.
We enjoyed the slideshow.
You are so nice to do fun things for a good cause.
You deserve a little bit of pizza- or at least cheese.
Hey - we would be totally into catching pizzas thrown in the air. Never have figured out that frisbee catching thing, but pizza is a totally different subject.
ReplyDeleteWas that Dennis and Daisy there?:) Bet you were just dying to get out there and get that frisbee. We would have been very happy to sit and enjoy pizza.
ReplyDeleteGood to see you back and thanks for the visit today.
