hi every bloggie!
Whew! I'm glad you had fun with me yesterday at the paws in the park. From your comments it appears pizza pie frisbee may be a hit in dog sports. Also, it was super hot but never fear, there was a doggie water park area with lots of pools. I spent lots of time in there. See!
Okay get this! my grad skool program also attended the Paws in the Park. Of course I had to stop by because I am a teacher's pet. That's what Tula and Peewee say at least.
You see my trainer dude Paul- featured below! Not only is he everywhere I go but he's been giving lots of homework.
I think I nailed it! Don't you? Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Next please....
Then Paul told me that not only is a PhD from good dog grad skool classes enough but I have to take the Canine Good Citizen test too! You might remember Frankie took it and passed. So a couple weeks ago, I went ahead to take the test. sigh. One good thing is the registration money went to Save A Dog which the rescue that sponsored the Paws in the Park event. See how it all comes together...

Here's me waiting.. ah yes.. cool as a cucumber. You should see the person holding the camera. Um.. she's making me nervous. Lookie lookie! My gal pals Lacey and Stella both took the test with me! Double hubba hubba
Click to biggify... 8 out of 10. Not bad but I gotta take it again. Not so easy peasy. At least I'm not ALL bad but that means more homework. Sigh.. I'll just have to stock up on more hot dogs for training.
Mom and I are snikhkering as we ponder what my test results would reflekht -
ReplyDeleteI'd probably be at 20% ;-)
Keep up the good work!

PeeEssWoo:I wonder if I khould extra khredit fur floof?
I like your stance man
ReplyDeleteTotal teacher's pet. I can't believe that you are meeting up with trainer dude outside of class and doing extra credit suck up assignments. Prepare yourself, because unless skool is outside, I will be there soon to challenge you. Yuh, for sure.
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Mango
P.S. So close on the good citizen. Momma says that you will do better as you get older and a bit more mellow.
doode... L&J would never pass that! well, Juno could but Loki would never be able to pass it!
ReplyDeletegoody two shoes trying out for some diploma. You and your Harry Fun Balls are Ivy League now, huh?
Sam took the same test - it is surely the toughest test a pup has to pass!
ReplyDeleteSam
Wow Norwood...8 out of 10...that's spectacular cuz that is a hard list to ace! Good luck with the homework.
ReplyDeleteyour cat pal,
Bruce:)
p.s. the advantage of being a cat is that they don't even try to train us:)
Oh, I've got to take that same test one of these days as part of the therapy dog test. I hope the homework is easy!
ReplyDeleteBunny
Wooos Norwood! I hope woo pass that test next time, I know it was hard to get the humans to do the right thing at the right time, but I am lucky because Mom trains other humans to take this test too!So she already knew what to do, now just spend lots more time training woo Mom...and tons of hotdogs for woo!
ReplyDelete-Kira The BeaWootiful
Woof! Woof! You definitely nailed it Norwood. Great JOB!!! Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteStella? Again?
ReplyDeleteThey should have given you ten out of ten on personality and the cute factor, alone. Everything else should have been extra!
Wow we looked at the test - it looks hard! We think that 8 out of 10 is very impressive! And we think you looked perfect in your pose like the logo - you did it exactly right!
ReplyDeleteAnd we think that the pizza pie throw should also include kitties because, well, you know, we like pizza too!
Wow Norwood...8 out of 10 is pretty darn good, I cannot believe you have to take the test again..Phewy!!
ReplyDeleteHappy homework Smileys & Snuggles!
Dory, Bilbo and Jacob
Wow, Norwood! You looked just EXACTLY like that logo! Has your mom ever thought about getting you a modeling contract? You most certainly have the looks!
ReplyDeleteSorry about having to takes the test again. I wanna take it someday but I know that "reaction to another dog" thing is gonna be my most biggest challenge, too. So we gotta work on that. I bet the next time you take it, they'll gives you an A++++++++! (And even if you don't haves that paper, I think you're a pretty good citizen already.)
Wiggles & Wags,
mayzie
Well done Norwood on you great results in your test, and best of all being teachers pet, you will get extra treats.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you got to swim on that hot day under that umbrella thing! And LOVE that pose with the yellow ball - so, so like that logo! GOOD try on your CGC - I bet I wouldn't pass it today, cause after I got used to Mom and Dad and living here, I started barking at things I shouldn't (and still do!). But Ma shoved me in the CGC ring about a month after I moved in and squeezed by. When I got that CD a coupla months ago, well... it's different - there are no wheelchairs and that seems to be an issue with me - and also large black garbage bags. You ought to see what happens when I traipse down the main street of our town for practice. I bark a lot at people. Mom is furry embarrassed. Sorry to talk about me so much. I know you will pass the next time - I think it's hard to ignore so many things we're supposed to in that test! You did good, Norwood!
ReplyDeleteBig Hugs xoxoxo
Sammie
Mesa could never pass but Baily did. We would never even consider trying with BC... i laugh at the thought
ReplyDeleteGreat job posin' like the logo, Norwood!
ReplyDeleteYou did great on the test! Both of us would have flunked!
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
A+++ on the homework assignment, Norwood. Now you need to get Paul to use that photo for his advertising:)
ReplyDeleteWe know you can nail that CGC, next try is the one!!!
Woos - Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
So you go to dog school to? Isn't it fun. I go one night a week and LOVE it.
ReplyDeleteI have my CGC to. :)

ReplyDeleteHey Norwood! I did the Canine Citizen Test too! Back in NZ...I had to work really hard for it but I did it in the end! In NZ, there are 4 levels: Basic, Bronze, Silver and Gold - do you have the same in the United States? I'm the only Great Dane in NZ to have got the Gold Level! :-)
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
