paws in the pawk

hi every bloggie!
I've been super busy having lots of fun.
A couple weekends ago, I went to Paws in the Pawk
at the historical Longfellow's Wayside Inn.

Ha... momma couldn't get me to sit still
I was too excited but here we are!!!
About to enter the K9 funball zone!

I got in and this was my first sight!
This is gonna be grrrreat!

Lots of rescues here trying to raise funds or adopt pups out.

okay a trip w/ me is not complete without live action
Hold on to your leashes... let's go!

All that table surfing made me hotballs
Time for a dip.

Whoa! Tula and Mango size!
I bet he can drink that whole pool of water!

All sizes were welcome
Lil dude got prime time seating.

Ha.. poodles are always suckahs
They have to wear that foo foo stuff.

Treat? Ha. Momma had to get my attention.

But someone else wanted a treat from me.
Yep this boy wanted a liplocker kiss.
Come and get it.

But the best part of the funballs
was this game of bobbing for hot dogs!

I gotta practice more..
I'll tell momma.

Before we left, we took a walkies thru the grounds.
I like to live on life on the edge,
the water drops off to the Grist Mill waterfall..

no worries... I didn't go in.
But I found a pawfect tree to hang out under.

That's all folks.
I missed woo guys.
I'll be around to visit this weekend 4 sure~

paws in the paahwk!

hi every bloggie
I hope everyone had a super Memorial Day Weekend and took time out to thank and remember all our military heroes.

Okay I'm a bit behind on blogging so let me take you back in time. Close your eyes. You are traveling back to last weekend. Here in Massachusetts it was hot in the 90s. But that didn't stop me from going to the Paws in the Park event to raise money for Save a Dog rescue.

The event was held at the historic Wayside Inn in Sudbury, MA.
Look I think this guy has been here awhile.. and old Patriot greeted everyone.
And of course I had to register to enter. No problem, I have very good paw writing
I quickly walked around to sniff the sights and sounds.
So many dogs reminded me of my blog pals in bloggie land. See for yourself.

And of course there was alot of action packed entertainment.
These two were center stage showing off their spectacular frisbee skills.
And this bernie drafted his way onto center stage.
Meanwhile I was a bit distracted. Pizza pie was in my center stage.
Go ahead and check out the frisbee show and you'll see for yourself I was totally into it.

Yep.. I'd catch the frisbee if it was a pizza pie!!!

Okay it was way too hot.
Gotta go!

paws in the pawk- part 2

hi every bloggie!

After the "dog walk" event at Paws in the Park! I stayed awhile to shop around the vendors.  I really wanted to bring this guy home but no luck.

Mom is such a weirdo.. Is she trying to be like us?  It looks like she has to pee so...
luckily Fun Aunt Dee was along to watch me as she took care of her personal business.
Then I ran immediately to my FAVORITE booth.  Best Friends Pet Care- my day camp staff was there to give me treats! Yummers.
After I replenished myself, I thought I'd capture the cast of characters at the event.  I didn't know horses were allowed???  Hee hee.  They were very nice.
And this guy said I was "fresh".  Ummm excuse me, he invited me on his lap.  Now do I look like a lap dog to you?  He was a lot of fun and I got mom to buy some fido freezes from him. Worked like a charm.
Oh.. looks like part of the GSD Adventure pack- At least Daphne-doesn't it?

Hmm I'm getting hungery again. I had more shopping to do. I'm in the mood for a cookie please!
Chi Ching!  Worked again.  Cookies to go!
Mom didn't catch my hint.. I'm posing.. nice and still!
But no portrait of me painted.  Darn. Then I saw these speckled specimens. Reminded me of my dear stumpy the gianted speckled chihuahua
All this talking, walking and shopping makes me hot.  Time for the water games.  This is their idea of a water game? Looks more like a sprinkler shower to me.  I don't think so.

And had to wrap up the day with a final view of Pee Wee's kind- labradorks. Look like he's more of a round mound not a pee wee.  Opps..sorry.  It slipped out.

And YES.. no Mango but one Mastiff was there.  Look at that tongue. Not relentlessly huge- just an extra large.  Poor guy had to wear this backpack.  If he had a job, he should've given rides.. hee hee.

It was time to go.  I had a really good time!

Oh yeah Norwood!

paws in the pawk- part 1

hi every bloggie!

I went to a fun event today. It was Paws in the Park!  The event raised money to help Save A Dog animal rescue!  So I hopped into the car and headed out. Looks like I'm driving-doesn't it.  Silly, I have a chauffeur. It was another beautiful day.. high 70s.

I was so excited to go because I was finally going to meet Dexter!  aka PeeWee!  He did a great job fundraising $400!
I can't believe it!  Live in person.  Mango always says his head is pointy.. I didn't think so.  He's actually all muscle- a stealth dude. Must be from wrangling with the relentless huge.
First we watched the frisbee demonstration!  This dog has talent.. but wait until you see what I did in the next contest. Yep I was invited into the trick contest.  Honestly, I don't have any tricks.
But I did what I usually do- spin, lay down and catch hot dogs.  Who knew that would win me an award!  I won a banana stuffie!  In my acceptance speech, I accepted the banana award on behalf of Tula- who's tongue is bananas! And time to celebrate.. no champagne necessary for me!
Then Dexter started changing colors.  I think Mango taught him how to sun bake. Look he turned as hot as the sun!

So we took a quick dip in the pond.  Awwwhhh!

Now time for the walk! It was more like a dog maze!

Look at everyone.. and they kept coming and coming!

At the end, we veered off to the stream.  Sun baking and walking! I can see why Mango and Tula stayed home.
Look at this.  Can you really bite water?
Well.. that's enough of the Paws in the Pawk for today.
The end.  Tail wags all around. More tomorrow.
