whisker walk 09

hi every bloggie!

Can you believe it.  I went to another dog event. I love the month of June. There's been a dog event almost every weekend. Today I went to the Whisker Walk. This event raises money for at least 10 different rescues.  Really. And the turn out was stupendous!  Everywhere I turned my sniffer, I saw this.. the family jewels.  Lots of them today.  Dogs at every view.

(click to biggify if you dare)

Immediately I went to the shopping venues to snag some free stuff. Look at all the people. I hope I can squeeze in there. This is bananas!

Yep got in no problem. Helps to give a lil push with my nose to the human buttocks. People quickly jump out of the way- and with a giggle too.  Let's see.  I think I'm in need of a rubber chicken.
Yep.. I'll take the old hen in the flower dress please.  (PS- I met Dexter's momma- she doesn't look like an old hen)
Then we looked at the Glow Dog reflector gear.  You can even see it glow for yourself with these fancy binoculars. I got a new reflector bandana. It was on sale for an unbeatable price-$3. It's always smart to be safe-right?
I don't know why I'm looking at this girl stuff.  I hope I don't get one of those fancy nancy outfits. Whew.. just looking. Thank God!
Oh.. you caught me. I was hungry and look what line I'm in.  Silly.. mom carries hot dogs on her.( I have her trained well.. don't I?)  But a burger sounds good too?!!

Then I had to stop at the kissing booth!  Remember mine?  This young lady was dressed up to kiss.  Wearing a tiara and all.  Look.. lips perched.  All ready.
People were donating left and right but no kissing. What? Can't a lil frenchy get a kiss too?
So we had to do the honorable thing and donate.. and get our kiss.  See for yourself.
Well.. I'll end it with that kissable moment. More whisker walk fun photos tomorrow.  Hope you had a fun weekend too!

  5. Stumpy is headed home and bringing her kissing booth....

really, Norwood, in spite of the fact that your Mother doesn't give you enough hot dogs, has to work for a living and travels occasionally, without you, she sure does know how to make sure you have fun!!!

  8. Heeheehee!! What a funny--a dog kissing booth! Grrreat idea, though. And helping so many doggie places out at the same time!

There are a lot of things coming up here in Ohio for doggies, too. Mommee is writing all of them down for us since we can't hold a pen or anything.

  11. Pruett still has his jewels but he is such an unruly, unkept hairy beast that you can't see them. I prefer diamonds to his family jewels. Great post! Looks like an awesome event!
