i'm not full of hot air!

hi every bloggie!

You won't believe it. Right next to my frog hunting pond, a hot air balloon festival lifted off this morning. Yep, I was up doing my usual 6am romp and the field was filled with alot of hot air. That is hot air balloons!
It was magnificent!

I even met a fellow canine hot air balloon enthusiast.

Here's the complete slide show if you want to see all the photos. Mom was going picture crazy and there's more to come later. A balloon glow is set for dusk tonight. I suspect we will be there! For other MA dog bloggies, you should check it out. A K9 unit demostration is happening this afternoon too. Hudson Hot Air Balloon Festival Events Now this is hot air worth listening too!

  3. a gathering of hot air ballons is one of the coolest sights to see, EVER!!! Stumpy, however, would be freaking out over those UFO's. Norwood, you're so brave. Stumpy is looking at the pictures of you sighing...I can almost hear her...she's whispering...it sounds like..."Norwood, you're my hero..."

  6. Norwood, every time we visit your bloggy, we swear you get even cuter! It's a good thing our mom doesn't live near you...we're pretty sure you would be in danger of being dognapped! You're waaaay cuter than all those balloons!

  7. What a neat way to start the weekend but it probably scared all of your frogs away, didn't it? Didya take a ride, Norwood?
I liked your being the basket-that made me laugh really hard. You sure do stand out bein's that you are black and white and those balloons are so colorful. But you have a much more colorful personality than all those balloons put together!!
And I think you'd give 'em a run for their money in the hot air dept. too!!
    Woofs and hot slobbers,
    Chester ;0=)

  13. What a gorgeous morning with all those big balloons! My ma and dad has flied in a balloon in Turkey and loved it - they also started at a ridiculous hour of the morning, but they tell me it was bootiful! I know you must have enjoyed that, and certain that you're enjoying the rest of the day too! Thanks for sharing!

  17. Hi Norwood, what an exciting day you have had!!! We have a lot of those hot air balloons pass over our yard in the summer. Sometimes they are low enough that they can yell down and say hello to us.

    Happy weekend, the OP Pack
