Happy eYewatch Friday! Between judging, chasing frogs, traversing trails and going to day camp, I take classes too. I thought I graduated good dog 101 and 201 and I even started agility prep! But I'm back in school again.
So I'm looking around to check out my classmates. My teacher often says "staring is rude" but I couldn't believe my eyes.
Oh yes the hardest working dog in bloggieville, my cuz Tula and fun aunt dee are in my class. Well let me clarify hard working... she is usually sawing logs but between the shut eye she works hard to keep her cool when she sees other dogs.
What What what? So if Tula's in this class why am I? huh? I'M not a RUFFIAN or reactive dog - I'm just crackery. Well fun aunt dee is a special education teacher. She used her teacher trickery to influence Paul my teacher to do an inclusion class- non reactive mixed with the ruffian "graduates". Between u and me, I never saw Tula's diploma. Well Tula and me.. we'd like to play together but this is first step. We're getting to do the same things together in a controlled safe way in close proximity. Maybe someday this year.. you'll see us play. Keep your paws crossed.
Mango Minster update! Wahoo! the CDIT group is finally getting ready to hit the Mango Minister 2010 ring. Petey was so concerned about my wellbeing - knowing I required nourishment after my trail run yesterday- look what he did. Check out his blog post... he's quite the CDIT friend... not a bribe right?
NORWOOD! That Petey is up to no good for sure.
ReplyDeleteWatch out for Tula Monstah! She sounds a lot like my Beautiful Raja who was always snapping at me when I tried to snuggle. Those gals are so temperamental.
Slobbers,
Mango
I've got my kitty cat paws crossed big time that you & Tula can play "for real" together! That's what cousins are suppose to do!
ReplyDeleteHappy Eyewatch Friday!
your pal,
Bruce:)
I hope you cousins can play and not get too rough. Cousins can have sibling rivalry, too, trust me.
ReplyDeleteNorwood, that is so cool that you and Tula are going to school together. maybe whe Stumpy heads east you can, all three, have a play date!
ReplyDeleteStumpy says your spooky is almost as scary as hers
Keep your eyes on Tula, I have heard of hot dogs but hot cats also well I have seen everything now.
ReplyDeleteHummmm. GRADUATE School. My mom says that costs lots and lots of green papers. Did you get a collarship or something????
ReplyDeleteSo how much are they payin' YOU to be the class guinea pig?
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I hope that Tula learns how to play well with others and that you learn not to run with scissors.
I always heard they'll throw anything into the hot dog batch but this is ridiculous!
Happy Weekend Norwood!
Chester ;0=)
Hey wait a minute...YOU'RE a judge at Mangominster, Norwood??? Why, that's the first Ive heard of it! And now that nasty word "bribe" is being thrown around, besmirching my good and charitable name!
ReplyDeleteTell those naysayers, Norwood...have I asked you for anything in exchange for those delicious, life-sustaining hotdogs? Noooooooo!
Your innocent pal,
Petey
Hi Norwood,

ReplyDeleteBig Sloppy Kisses
Gus, Louie and Callie
Well we are seeing a new side to Petey, these last few days, are we not, Norwood? I trust that you are a dog of integrity, who would not be swayed by such, er, tokens of appreciation.
ReplyDeleteOh and by the way it's Hamish. Not Hammish.
And I drink Scotch (not Irish) whisky (not whiskey)...
Cheers, H.
Hi Norwood, that is one spooky photo, we felt a chill just looking at it. Did you feel the presence of any other doggies when it was taken? Brrr!!
ReplyDeleteWe think school is fun. We're not allowed to attend our school together - we're told we're a bad influence on each other, he he he!
Schnauzer snuggles - JD and Max.

ReplyDeleteAHEEEEEEMMMMMMM....

(Lacie bares her teeth in a frightening display of canines...)
Sweet little barks,
Laciegirlie

ReplyDeleteAnd Taffy won...and he's a Welsh Terrier...
ARE YA SURE YA DIDN'T MIX US UP???
I'm just sayin'....
I'm thinkin' we might go to the zoo...
Retired Judge Norwood. Sir. Your Honor.
ReplyDeleteWe are writing to let you know we respect your clear consideration and objectivity. Your linear thinking. Your fairness and impartiality. Your honorable decision making.
Now we just wonder if you'll apply those same qualities to the recent advances of Sweet Lacie. Hmmm. Just when you thought the hard work was over!
Respectfully yours,
Jake and Fergi
very studious looking you 2 sandy
ReplyDeleteSo you're working on your PhD, huh? You are a brilliant student. Oh, and I see you on something my teacher called the Relaxation Mat. It took me like forever to understand the concept of relaxation!
ReplyDeleteI'd love your vote in Mango MInster...it's a tough show down for sure!
Yes, it's a bit like MA down here in MD. We woke up to about 2 1/2 feet of snow still in the street. NO plows in sight!
I'm off for more cavorting and snow swimming.
Your pal,
Fenway
Norwood, you didn't come up with that awful moniker "Cracker Dog Insane Terriers" and perhaps there should just be an "Insane Cracker Dog" category that's open to all breeds. I just object to the officials at MangoMinster's display of jealousy by labeling ALL terriers as "Insane Cracker Dogs." Perhaps it is your Blue Heeler genes that make you a tad crackers? Have you considered that? (Looks again at Norwood's lineage - "Jack Russell terrier." Uh oh. The definition of crazed cracker dog.)
ReplyDeleteThose hotdogs were for you because you were clearly starving in those arctic conditions. And besides, once injested, they are non-returnable.
Now pal oh pal...I think you're being a bit too devil-may-care when it comes to facing, much less DATING Lacie. Take it from somedog older and wiser—she puts the "fur" (usually yours) in ferocious in her sweeter moments. I dare not even imagine her vengeful persona!
However, shall you survive, I'll be certain to send on your "Lacie Date Survival" bracelet.
Your pal,
Petey
That blue of the arena would put us off playing too. Sheesh, can someone turn that down!?!
