can u dig it?

hi every bloggie!

Before the rains hit yesterday, I had a super long walkies in the morning. The ground soft and fresh with scents. Squirrels taunting and teasing me. The birds calling. And then I remembered last spring. I watched my boston pal Agatha along with her coach Archie compete in an Earthdog event.
Yep.. I went all the way up past Mt Wachusett to a secret rat location to cheer on Agatha. Look look- they ignored me. Huh?
That day Agatha even won her junior earthdog E certification! Well I am part terrier. I can dig it too! Check me out. I couldn't help myself yesterday- I got the fevah.. spring fevah.

And I sport the best mud beard just like a true earthdog
What cha think Archie? Got room on your coaching roster?

  6. I can't believes your mom said that was "ridiculous"! I don't think there's a thing ridiculous abouts it. Those varmints NEED to be dug out and I think you did a Most Excellent job of it. In fact, I think you deserve a ribbon of your own.

  11. Okay,we're hittin' obsession mode?! BWahahaha...You did great work Norwood! I too am an earthdog, just not officially.I have driven off all the little groundcritters at our place in farrrN.Idaho so Mommy's plants are safe to grow now. It's really a service I provide with no compensation demanded! Since you are so close to A&A you probably could get him to coach you too. Arch is quite a good one I hear.

  15. I get it now!

When I do that on our walks in the snow, that truly DOES make me a snowdog!

I do know how to wield a mean paw at the divot under the birdfeeder that fills with shells and mud - maybe I'll have to prakhtice more!

  16. You just gave us a great idea, Norwood. TD is so ready to dig for hidden treasure, or maybe he wants to dig a hole big enough to bury his sister in:)
