boston marathon doggies

This past monday was Patriot's Day. In Massachusetts, that means a couple things:
- State Holiday- No work or school for most!
- Boston Red Sox Game
- and the Boston Marathon!

Since mom moved here she loves to watch the marathon.  I wanted to go. I begged and begged. She said something about me tackling the runners.  Me- would I do that? I was left home alone again.  One thing mom did for me was take pictures of all the furry friends at the race.  I wish I could smell them- don't they make scratch and sniff photos yet?
Mom at Wellesley College- 12 mile marker point.
My favorite runner in the whole event- the Banana Man!
Fun Aunt Dee eating free popcorn.  She looks really hungry. She didn't bring any back for me. what's up with that-geesch!
Oh.. a westie cheering on the runners.  Mom has a thing for westies.  Her first dog Scruffy was a westie. I heard they can be trouble.
Hee hee they look alike- don't they?
Very sweet.. the two green and purple circles are lil kids with hats on. He was bending over to give a kiss.  The "awwwh" factor here.  Me- I would be jumping on them.
So... cute. The little husky puppy got more attention than the race.
A pampered pooch had a great view of the race.
Getting some love. These schnoodles conoodling in public with their dad.
And last but not least the infamous peek a boo pose from this terrier.
I sure wish I went- it looked like fun. So many friends.. well maybe next year.

  3. Well Norwood, I think it's a good thing that you didn't go cuz it would have been REALLY hard to just stand & watch & not get to run too! Very nice of your mom to take all these nice pictures for you though...she's a keeper:)

  4. Hi Norwood,

Sorry you were left at home again! I can sympathize as mom leaves me here alone during the week at times. She keeps telling me that I would not find stats to be very interesting, but I certainly do believe that I could liven up the class for her!

  10. Norwood-I'm sorry you couldn't go with your mommy to watch the Boston marathon. I don't think you would have tackled or chased the runners!!
