Hi every bloggie!
I'm still on the balance rock trail. It was a gloomy day but I was getting hot. And just in time, I ran into this waterfall and pool. The waterfall looked like a slim slide but the pool above it was exquisite.
Here's my best impression of Michael Phelps. Look at that posture and steel eyed stare. The look of a champion and determination. Ok okay! the look of trouble according to you know who.
So after my refreshing dip-we made it up most of the trail. Not quite the top but a great spot to picnic. Oh.. yeah. Time for hot dogs right? But I hear.. I hear something.... oh.. it's her again.
And now for the summit. We made it and I took in the vista over the ski lift. Hmm... that looks like an easier way to the top. huh! MOM! WE didn't have to look at stupid rocks-did we?
Hi Norwood! you look like you are having the very best time ever! I wish I was there with you. Is there any really good mud there? I like mud.

Norwood, you have the best of the best Mom to take you on such wonderful hikes!! I LOVE the photo of you swimming in that pond. We humans should be as uninhibited as you and just dive right in like that! You set a very good example on HOW TO HAVE FUN! I LOVE looking at your HAPPY face! Thanks for making my morning a whole lot happier!
ReplyDeleteyour human friend,
Sharon:)
But Norwood...did you see any snakes or lizards or chipmunks or squirrels or anything exciting besides the view? I need to know the critter details! What about in that pond? Did you see any turtles or fish or tadpoles? I got attacked by a lizard yesterday...a lizard with big teeth! I'll be telling you about it later when Sharon has a chance to blog it. You've gotta watch out for the creatures with TEETH!
ReplyDeleteThanks for another adventure!

ReplyDeleteMom and Dad grew up in Reedsburg. It is a few miles from Wisconsin Dells. The glacier went through Baraboo home of Ringling Brothers Circus and formed Devils lake. It is a beautiful lake where no gas motors are allowed only electric ones. It is extremely cold because of all the natural springs..
Mom graduated from MATC in 1980. Man is she old...
It certainly is a small world..
Mom and Dad plan on retiring in Wisconsin, Dad is hoping sooner than later..
