get your hiking shoes on please!

Hi every bloggie!
I went to one of my favorite local hiking trails- Gates Pond. Believe it or not, I had a little bit of cooped up energy from my 4 day stay at Day Camp.  Mom suggested we go for a nice hike.  Who'd say no to that?

Oh.. before I get carried away- see my new blue bandana? It's a true Texas cowboy bandana right from Cavender's Boot City in Dallas. True blue for a blue man.  Okay- enough about my manly accessories.

Got your shoes on-let's go for a nice hike. It's relatively flat for you flat landers out there.  The path just follows the perimeter.. no maps required.. just sniffers. Let's go.
Okay come on now.. you have to keep up if you want to have fun.
Wait a minute.. a hole.  You always stick your head in holes.  Try it. Hmm nothing in this one.

Oh waaahhooo! A stick.  What a minute! It's a trick stick. No fair.
Now time for a sip and a dip.  It's not that cold... chicken. Come on!
Oh that's it for now.  We'll finish it up tomorrow. You look out of breath.
Hope you enjoyed the view during the walk.  Hee hee.

  9. How lucky that you get to go off leash during your hikes. Mom has to keep a leash on me on account we go to the Metro Parks and there are always tons of people, dogs and horses around. Great hike though, thank you for sharing.

  10. That's a pretty cool bandana you got there.. It is just what the Blue Man needed..
You sure have a beautiful place for a hike. We don't have many trees like that. Bet I could leave some great pee-mail there..
