The Mango Minster Best in Show was announced and congratulations to my pal Clive and Murray! Woot woot Hollah! That was quite a dog show! And a Rentlessly Huge Thank you to Mango for being the best MC and honoring me with the important task of judge. (albeit I may have to go into the witness protection program) Okay.. now for more fun. The norwood razzies. My personal awards to the terrier group. Here we go!

I just love the stylings of Chip. His terrier beard is something to adore!

Of course you can't have a dog show without the terrier fashions. Here are my favs for the fancy pants award.

Okay this crew made me hungry. I wanted to put a slice of cheese on them and eat'em up.

One minute sweet the next minute salty... see for yourself.

And Miss Fergie took a literal approach to the contest. Nice interpretation!

The next group sent me wonderful "friendship tokens" over the last few weeks. I really cherish our friendship... even NOW right?

These terriers really know how to be terriers with an elegant crackerness.

And the reason I may need to hit the witness protection program. Miss Lacie is out for blood now that her brother Scruff landed an honorable mention and her beastly self did not. If I turn up missing- you know why.

eYewatch friday

Happy eYewatch Friday! Between judging, chasing frogs, traversing trails and going to day camp, I take classes too. I thought I graduated good dog 101 and 201 and I even started agility prep! But I'm back in school again.

So I'm looking around to check out my classmates. My teacher often says "staring is rude" but I couldn't believe my eyes.

Look at that muscle butt... does it look familiar?

Oh yes the hardest working dog in bloggieville, my cuz Tula and fun aunt dee are in my class. Well let me clarify hard working... she is usually sawing logs but between the shut eye she works hard to keep her cool when she sees other dogs.

What What what? So if Tula's in this class why am I? huh? I'M not a RUFFIAN or reactive dog - I'm just crackery. Well fun aunt dee is a special education teacher. She used her teacher trickery to influence Paul my teacher to do an inclusion class- non reactive mixed with the ruffian "graduates". Between u and me, I never saw Tula's diploma. Well Tula and me.. we'd like to play together but this is first step. We're getting to do the same things together in a controlled safe way in close proximity. Maybe someday this year.. you'll see us play. Keep your paws crossed.

Mango Minster update! Wahoo! the CDIT group is finally getting ready to hit the Mango Minister 2010 ring. Petey was so concerned about my wellbeing - knowing I required nourishment after my trail run yesterday- look what he did. Check out his blog post... he's quite the CDIT friend... not a bribe right?

Believe it or not, I have so many fotos I haven't posted yet. Think back.. yep think think think.. Well let's just say it was a time when lights decorated homes, a fat bearded fellow dropped into homes and I enjoyed many gifts. That's a while ago.. I headed to one of my favorite parks. Wahoo!

This is Hopkinton State Park- It's close to the Boston Marathon start line. That's the lake frozen over. It's pretty for winter standards.

The park is filled with many trails. Hmm which way do I go!

I decided to take the trail around the lake. Sorry- no ice skating for me. Ahem.. someone reminded me to the dangers of ice.

So I traversed quickly along the trail until I hit this spot.

Huh? It's so loud and scary. A scary rushing stream! I'd call for help but the Mango doesn't go outside the 495 force field and this is on the edge. And let's just say Tula is no service dog.

Oh good grief.. do I have to cross!

Listen to this scary monster! But I made it!

And made it to the kayak area.

Oh think about kayaking on ice. Now that would be a trip and more like the kinda fun I'd like to have.

I tried to move one out but no luck. Ah look at them, the colors reminded me of skittles. Hmm I'm getting hungry. Oh. I think I have some hot dogs with me sent from.... oh.. never mind.

Since my meet ups with the Mango Minster contestants, I've been a bit busy. All of a sudden, I've become very popular. I had tons of visits from new blog pals leaving comments like.. "hey norwood- I've seem to cook too many hot dogs, do you want to come over?" I as judge can not accept "friendship tokens" per the Mango's rules. I unfortunately had to resist the tempting offers.. ahem.. wink wink. But thanks pals for stopping over to plug your entries, I'm trying hard to catch up on visiting your bloggies.

Any who... onto other things like my supernatural powers instilled in me by harry funballs.
