wirey funballs

hi every bloggie!

You won't believe this! Get this! I went to a wire fox terrier convention this weekend. Seeing I'm part terrier and crackah, I was invited to join the honorable cracker A team- Agatha and Archie along with wannabees -all the way from Colorado- the two special wires- Fergi and Jake! Can you believe it!

Please read disclaimer before we proceed- to me WFT look very similar so if I misname one, it's not on purpose. You guys & gals confuse with me both having beards and eyebrows.

Of course, the A team being Boston born hosted the tour. Where else would we go than the Arboretum! I was excited to go b/c I've never been there either. It's an amazing place- check out the website. Tahdah I made it!
I definitely wanted a foto but getting a picture of FOUR wire fox terriers is like corralling cats. I did it! Here they are about to begin our walkies! Half of PL2 with Agatha, PL1 with Archie, Nina with Jake and Moma with Fergi
PL1 being a smarty pants professor gave us a talking tour... he knows everything. I wonder how he keeps all that information in his head? We got history lessons, beetle lessons, tree lessons... I can go on but I wanna keep walking.
Then Jake couldn't believe his eyes!
Agatha went crackah and started digging and digging for NO REASON at all! I guess she was giving lessons on being a true terrier. Jake stared in disbelief!

Archie and I decided to keep moving and climbed to the top of the hill.
It was a spectacular view of the Blue Hills! WHOOOOOooo! Yoleihehoooo!
After we walked this section of the Arboretum, we drove to another part. I told you the place was huge. The humans took a brief break to report a beetle they found to the visitor center- hoping it wasn't the Japanese Beetle- whew it wasn't. Moma and Jake and Fergi enjoying the summer breeze waiting for the news.
While we waited Jake pulls out his froggie! Yep how did he know I love frogs! Frog on Dude!
So I'm minding my own business and look what happens. Archie starts licking me -getting all fresh! Ummm ahem I AM not about that dude! Weird!
Finally we hit water. The A team wanted to show us this neat trick. They water ski with PL1. Look they are getting set up! Ready PL1?
Hold tight! Weeeeee! Weeeee!
Full wire fox terrier throttle!
Fergi thought it was fun, she went water skiing too!

After that refreshing dip, we took a jaunt in the field. Fergi felt so good she did zoomies but with a hop- Justlike a rabbit... Lil bunny foo foos! Real fast. Almost ... crackah dog like. I'm so proud. Lookie!

We were having so much fun I had to take another group foto. Here's take one.
And take two.
And more takes, ha ha I think probably six takes. Getting terriers to look at the camera is mission impossible. Then I saw the A team in a huddle talking to their PL2. What are they up to now? More tricks? Seems they were hungry so we left to set up a picnic! Good idea A team.
The beans getting their feedbags on!
Yummy I love cookies too! droolies droolies! You know who sat under the table like a troll waiting for one to drop. Yep Miss Agatha the Wicked.
And as the saying goes.. all good things must come to an end. I followed the A team out to the pike and headed back to the 495 corridor. I had a super funballs time! It's great meeting up with our dog blog pals! Thanks for coming Jake and Fergi! You are two special friends of mine... you too A team.

I did manage to stream our picnic live- go to norwood tv ( or click play below- it is 20 mins long) to join in our picnic fun. If you watch long enough, you may have some good material on that Miss Agatha.. She was not always a lady. Just an FYI for that holy terrier crew
