no fair

hi every bloggie!

Don't worry, I won't bore you with another post about grad skool. I just wanna tell you something. Saturday I went to skool as normal. See me to the right... I'm sitting and staying and paying full attention. That deserves an A+.

As normal.... the Mango ( ahem right behind me) got exhausted from the lessons.
I mean really... he did laid down most of the time! I certainly hope THAT behavior doesn't get a passing grade. No Fair. Look at him. He was a huge safety hazard not to mention the slobbery slippery spots left in his path.
Being good for an hour really gets to me so after class, I had to unwind. I went to Lake Boon for a swim.

Ahh and then I looked into the sky. Huh? Seems my gal pal Miss Fluffy Tail herself Khyra was sending me some floof!
The weatherman didn't forecast it this morning. What a nice surprise. And since it was a beautiful day, mom decided to stop at a Harvest Craft Fair.
Yep, fall in New England... nothing better. I thought you'd enjoy the scene.
Patriots!
Okay- get this, mom didn't want me jumping on the vendor tables, so I waited in the car. Boring.. no fair... I mean really no fair for me- sigh. Meanwhile she perused the tents. Ooo I wish she would've bought this fun picture of anipals enjoying dinnah.
Then there was a vendor selling cow bells. All sizes!
And dinner bells....or should I say service bells.... ringing ding ding! Service please! I could really use one of these!
Mom thought about it.. getting me a new bell. But it stopped there.
Seems she feels I have my own service bell already- no fair! Ringy ding dinging... time to go outside!

tula's house of horrors

hi every bloggie!

Wow you might know already but if not, I have big news. My cousin Tula moved. Yep she's got herself a new lily pad. It's not too far away - so today when I went on my run, I made sure we stopped by. See mom was over there yesterday helping unpack. Tula was not happy at all. She was furry furry scared of the floors. Being a big girl, she loved having carpeting beneath her toes but her new place doesn't have it. Fun Aunt Dee made a patchwork of throw rugs to pave a path. She even sprinkled treats on the floor to entice her... but nope. Furry furry scared!
So I showed up! First I wanted to see if Tula and FAD liked my housewarming gifts! I see they are properly displayed.
Yeppers... froggers for the lily pad.
This peeper is so much fun! Shhh .....I really wanted to keep him but someone wouldn't let me.
I was Tula's first visitor! We decided it was best to play outside first. Inside is something new for us- we've only played outside together and that's only been recently. Plus Tula can be a bit nutty about her beddie bye, her food bowl, her toys, her bones, her water dish... I think you get the point. So Tula put her safety gear on and we went to her own furry nice backyard.
Hee hee... a little message from me!
I proudly stood by it although FAD was NOT too pleased.
But I had to show Tula that the backyard is furry funballs. You can write your name all over and do other things.

Okay - close your eyes if you don't like animal abuse. Poor tula has been ball of anxiety and then this happened.
FAD thought the monstah sized leafs would look lovely on Tula. Gimme a break. I'm trying to help her like her new pad - don't impede my progress please.
Then we moved inside... dun dun dun.. the house of horrors to walk on the wicked evil floors. My training trick? I waved my delightful furry fun side at her.
And guess what.. they don't call me a bait dog for nothing.
She fell for it. And look.. she even went further into the house.
She did it! I hope she invites me over for a dinnah pawtee now!
norwood done!

my bettah side!

eYewatch friday- trail markers

hi every bloggie!

Whoohoo! it's finally Friday! Yeah forget hump day, this is my favorite day of the week. This week's eYewatch edition is about one of the rails to trails that I've highlighted before, it's the Assabet River Rail Trail. See there I'm on it right now.
I use it almost every weekend when I go running with mom. And this time of year it is full of color. Almost at peak color... I'll have to take more photos this weekend because it's even more colorful right now. Now that's an eYeful of leaf peeping.
See that?!- when I go running- I have to wear my string. I think mom feels I'll get lost but I won't. You know why? They marked the trail just for me! Put your eYes on these trail markers. Yep just for me! Frogs, bunnies and turtles every other step!

How can I possibly get lost with my eYes on these markers!!!!

Okay.. more leaf peeping along the river.
Can't believe your eYes -can woos?
How about this side... okay I'll flip to my otherside too.

How about that for an eYewatch Friday!

Okay before I go, I want to mention 2 charitable fundraising events.

As you may or may not know, mom works with people with disabilities. She use to work with school aged kids in high skool who were Special Olympians. She knows first hand how important this organization is to the young adults and their families. On October 30th, she is running in the Special Olympics Trick or Trot 10k. I hope I can go, but we have to ask the race director. K9s are allowed to do the 1 mile walk so I don't see why not the run.
This is my special promotional photo- muuaah evil elmo ate me! I bet he thought I was a treat! If you'd like to help out, go to my Special Olympics donation page!

The second announcement is my Ohio pal Sagira is participating in the 2 Million Dog walk on November 7th. If you remember, in June I went to the final mile of the 2000 miles walked by Luke, Murphy and Hudson when they landed in Boston. I'm not sure I'll participate in this walk, but Sagira is participating in the Cincy location. If you liked to help cure canine cancer, go to her Sagira/Jermey's donation page or participate in a city near you.

Okay- and as they say- that's all folks

sit.. stay.. snooze city

hi every bloggie!

Okay get this. I'm in grad skool working on my masters degree in refined conductology. Well for most of the class I have to sit and pay attention to mom. Boring. To make things worse, I'm also made to sit and calmly watch the big moose mango! How much did I pay for this class?

Photo 37 - 2010-10-10

This must be the supersized modified class, Tula is in it too. I must have signed up for the wrong class. I'm not 100+lbs and SLOW.

But still, I have to sit and watch calmly. Boring... snoooze city.

Photo 36 - 2010-10-10

Then I almost fell asleep when forced to watch the mango moose complete the agility course. It was like watching paint dry.

And the cherry on the top was watching these two wide loads copy each other. And mango has the nerve to sway his fruit bearing bottom at me too.

Grad skool is so over rated.
