pile on

hi every bloggie!

Lookies. I'm wearing my christmas present
from grampie and granne.  It's a Ruff Wear approach pack

Yeppers it's a backpack.  huh?
Momma started piling all kinds of things in it.

Meanwhile she tried out her new walkies stick.
Geez. I'm glad she has to carry something.

new walking stick

You'd think the extra stuff would slow me down.
Nope.  Come ON!
Today we hit the Marble Hill Trail in Stow.
(can you believe there wasn't any snow?)

Whoa. Wait.
I heard bauwk bauwk. cluck cluck.
Oh the trail is a conservation area found right behind an elementary school
and nestled in a residential area if you are wondering.

That house along the trail had chickens hanging out in their yard.
Hmmmm. I bet I could put one in my backpack.
I bet I could. Sweet. Pile on.

Oh that's when momma called me.
COOOOMIIIINGG!  darn it. No chicken tonight.

weeeeee

No worries. I can still fly.
Hee hee I look like a super nordude!  a caped crusader!

A few spots along the trail, I noticed rocks piled on.
Okay.. momma says I do this for like 500 zillion times...
Watch out. Dirt is a flying.

Along the trail we saw even more rock pile ons.
Sometimes the rocks are trail markers.
I guess kinda like my kick back markings but for humans.

New backpack

Hmm. But this pile on... I think they were just silly hikers
playing a game of trail JENGA

Wait. I gotta an idea.
I decided to make my own rock pile on with me!

Momma said that was ridiculous and stop being a jackass.

Wait.. is that why I have this backpack?
She gave me that job... neener.

last snow shoe fun

hi every bloggie
Free Smiley Courtesy of www.millan.net
Okay... it's been almost 2 weeks ago.. but I'm finally posting these pics.
I think it was my last snow shoe adventure for the season.
Pretty much all of the snow has melted by now.
But I'm sure sibe-nation will savor this post.

It freshly snowed. Plastering all the trees and trails.
So of course, momma put on her snow shoes and I put on my mittens.
We hit the Marble Hill trail in Stow MA.
We'll start with me looking handsome. hee hee

See I wasn't lying when I said it was snow plastered.

Furry furry pretty.
There was no body...nahdah no-one on the trail.
All you could here is my bear bell ding-a-ling

So I'm zooming along .

We kept running into these weird trail markers.
I guess humans made this trail into a torture course.
All signs said perform at your own risk.

Momma didn't do any pull ups despite my pleads.
Oh well. See.. please please please.
I tried.

We came upon the next part of the torture series.
Now this one I wouldn't mind doing.
Only problem... the logs were buried in snowballs.
I guess I'll come back when it's melted.

Oaky, ready for the live snow shoe action!
As always... here it is.

I hope you saw momma try to poke me with her pole! huh!

Let me tell you... some other evil things she does to me,
you can see it really good on this pic.
Momma gives me home haircuts. See lookie! holes in my furdoo.
It's not right.

Okay this was a photo op stop.
Really it was a rest break for you know who,
momma's heavy breathing.
She said this was a tough ungroomed trail with all hills.
Hmm.. I had no problems.

Okay look up!

Yeppers I was smothered by this huge tree!
That was inside it.

Okay I bet your tired too.
So I'll leave you with my infamous snow balancing trick!
Taaaahhhhdahhhh
I think I have a few more snow pics left
and that should be it for this season. I think spring is here.
Gotta get the frontline on.. our pal Dex got lyme's disease already
bye bye!

king of the hill

Hi every bloggie! Free Smiley Courtesy of www.millan.net

I just got a message from Callie, Gus and Louie reminding me that an entire week has gone by since I last bloggied! Wow wee.. that is ridiculous! I guess stupid work interferred with my assistant's bloggie responsibilities.. I'll save you from the boring details. But thanks to my heeler pals to herd me back to bloggieland.

Okay now woos know I am far behind on blogging and in fact most of the trees are bare and brown now but I still have fotos from this spectacular fall to show you. I hope you don't mind.

Okay- ready I will be pawsonal trail guide. Back in .. ahem.. October, I went to Stow Ma to hike the Marble Hill trail. I like this trail because it is not too busy so I can run wild and free!

Okay- your trail guide is ready.. Hmm. Which way to go?
I guess it doesn't matter. Let's go!

Norwood on the Marble Hill Trail

You should always mark your trail so you know your way back! Go ahead! I'll wait.
mark your trail

Whew pee wars! that's exciting I gotta shake it off.
shake it off

This is the fun part- some spots along the trail you have to leap over any fallen tree obstacles! Weee! COME ON!
flying norwood

And then stop to enjoy the beauty. Ahhh!
Marble Hill Trail

Oh boy great! I found some huge rocks to climb. Look at me this is my mountain lion pose.

Yep that is Mango size! So while my photographer was climbing up.... I happen to find something that sparked my snooter. Get close.

As part of my trail guide duties, I had to make a video of a little leaf crunching and fall ambiance for my Florida pals Brucethecat and Sharon. They don't get to enjoy fall like I do.

Yep.. ..... autumn is splendid.
Autumn bliss

Oh and don't forget to join in! My terrier pals Jake & Fergie are requesting all our participation in the 2nd annual Worldwide Moment this Sunday! Nov 14th 11pm GMT. For details go here.
