and the winner is...

hi every bloggie

Wow what a great week. I had a super fun time with the festival. The final vote for top honor"Flick of the Year" was conducted this weekend. I've made a decision. In order to maintain the integrity of the Pawdance Film Festival, I will not name Top Flick of the Year. I don't believe fair voting practices were maintained. With that said, I don't feel comfortable awarding it, therefore we will just honor all the category winners! All are winners to me anyways! Way to go!

Okay, meanwhile, life went on as usual.
Oh yeah... frogs frogs frogs woohoo?!!!
Thanks again everyone for participating in the Pawdance Film Festival!!!!

the Golden Norwood goes to.....

hi every bloggie!
What a fabulous week! I had a pawsome time at the film festival and hope you did too! It was a great celebration of our talents. This event even brought out new talents in bloggie land. Miss Mayzie discovered her inner songbird while viewing Lorenza's flick. You HAVE to read Mayzie's post! Amazing!

Okay, first a big thank you to the participants! (round of applause please) And next a huge thank you to everyone who came out to vote! We had a great response (round of applause) Ready! the Pawdance Film Festival is excited to announce the category winners and recipients of the Golden Norwood.
Please go to the Film Festival to view the category winners and place the final vote- the FLICK of the YEAR!

Polls are open now until Saturday May 15th at Midnight EST.

*PS I hate to say this but there was a great deal of very very last minute votes. If voting is suspect due to a last minute large increase in votes, I will over rule the voting and determine the winner myself. Keep it one vote per person. I really want the viewers to decide! Thank you! Now back to the fun....

rip mr peepers

hi every bloggie!

Thank goodness I've been released from camp lock down. Me + no walkies= dogs gone wild. So I immediately went to the frog pond. Here is a quick re-enactment of my adventure.
Unfortunately my friendly encounter with mr. peeper ended in his untimely death. I, I, I don't know what happened. It all happened so fast. I was gently shaking him in my mouth when unbeknownst to me, my toofer penetrated his belly. He went so quickly. I tried to do mouth to mouth and stop the bleeding but mom made me put him down. Sorry mr peepers. You were a fun friend. RIP.
And last update! The deadline for entries is Sunday May 9th at midnight. If you oughta be in pictures, you still have time!

walking for hunger- part one

hi every bloggie!

Oh boy! Yesterday was the Walk for Hunger! A 20 mile walk to benefit local food pantries and help feed children/families in need. This is mom and her work walking crew. We as a group raised $6000 total for the event. Mom raised $780 herself! That's alot of money! I personally think she had the best fund raising honor roll.. thanks to Brucethecat, Mango & Dexter, The Miss White Fluffy Tail Khyra, Sam and Pippen, the OP pack , Nermal the cat, Agatha & Archie, Chester and my galpal Lacie. Pawsome job! and a super big thank you!( I hope I didn't leave out anyone)
The event, like most started in the Boston Commons. The weather started as overcast but got up to 90. Don't worry, I started at 7am when it was 60 degrees and only walked 6 miles.
And.... we're off.
I was super excited to be in the city. I've never really walked in the city before. Everyone-even the policeman wanted to say hi to me.
This is I think around mile 2. The infamous Citgo sign means the home of the Boston Red Sox is near- Fenway Pawwhk.
We walked along the Commonwealth Ave parkway. Lots of doggies. See that one! Looks as gigantic as my cuz Tula- I'm pretty far away. S/he was a beautiful St Bernard.
Ha! The 1st Check in point was sponsored by mom's work. That's Linda who is part of our team! She got me so excited I tried to jump onto the table. That gave these ladies something to talk about.
Next checkpoint- water break.
Next we arrived at Chestnut Hill Reservoir. MA has all these reservoirs around but NO SWIMMING allowed. Boo! But sausages, fried dough, coffee were. Hmm. What should I sample.
But this was the point fun aunt dee was picking me up. Ladadadaha
Where is she?
There she is... okay few more fotos to post but that's enough for today. And now for a Pawdance Film Festival Update!
Did you know the RH Mango sings?
In his latest romantic flick, he croons and pleads with the best. Hold onto your pantaloons ladies, this is the flick for you. Mango's rendition of "let's get it on" will leave you breathless.
if the trailor is a rockin' don't come knockin'. You still have until May 9th to enter the 2010 Pawdance Film Festival

eYewatch friday- skywatch edition

hi every bloggie

Okay no pantaloons to discuss today because it's eYewatch Friday! Yipee! The other day I felt like I was being followed. What? Don't look behind me?

I mean I went running with mom and it was all sunshine sunshine. Then we finished and I felt an evil looming. Are you sure I shouldn't look?
Whoa ! Jeepers Creepers- these evil dark clouds are closing in!
How's that for keeping my eYe on the sky. How'd they creep up so quickly?

And now for our eYe video of the week. There is this super creepy effect on my iPhone video app- You can make a super zoom eYe spy view in the video.. strange. See for yourself in my flick called: Lost & Found

Tadadahddahaaha more breaking news for the Pawdance Film Festival

My kool pal Sammie submitted a super scary and suspenseful flick.
Co-starring with this guy!
This suspense flick will premier during the Pawdance Film Festival along with many others. You have until May 9th to get yours in! You oughta be in Pictures! You oughta be a star! Now's your chance! Happy eYewatch Friday!

walking for hunger wednesday

hi every bloggie!

Guess what? I'm participating in an important event soon. On May 2nd we're walking 20 miles as part of mom's work - the Raytheon Wyman Walkers team! The 20 mile event benefits Project Bread- Walk for Hunger! Here's the walking route- Starts and Ends at the Boston Commons. Click to biggify.
It's a fantastic tour of Boston and Cambridge with food, music and fun along the entire route. Me, Mr. Norwood will join mom at stop 6 Cambridge Boat Club to lead her to the finish line! I think at that point she'll need it.

Please consider donating to this great cause. I have a $500 goal and almost there so $5, $10, $20.. it all counts. Also these silly Raytheon folks are in teams and trying to compete for the largest funds raised. Right now the Wyman Walkers are in a tight race for 2nd. You can donate by clicking on my donation page below.

Also don't forget to get your entries in for the Pawdance film festival. We received our first entry for the Comedy Category... here's a hint. Why did the rooster cross the balloon?
and
You'll see that stand up act during film festival week!
Remember you don't have to have fancy movie making skills. Just get an old video or take a new video ! I know plenty of cracker terriers that have killed plenty of stuffies to qualify for the murder category. You know who you are.... Get your entries in! Here's a refresher of the rules. If you have a question, please email me norwoodunleashed@gmail.com. Oh..rumor has it Mango has been pulling together a dance routine... I thought I felt the earth shake over here...
