training tula

hi every bloggie!

First off, I'm furry excited about the 2nd Annual Worldwide Moment taking place today. I thought the Thundering Herd had a beautiful post about the meaning of it. Check it out if you haven't seen it.

Okay. You all know I've been in grad skool working on my masters with Tula and Mango. Well after skool, I've been doing some training on my own with Tula my monstah cousin. Who'd think a crackah dawg like me would be teaching appropriate social play lessons! But come see my training techniques...

First you find a beautiful place with trails, tree lined and water access. Hmmm pawfect.

This is Lake Boon in Stow MA.

I like to begin our lessons with some basics. Zooming right at Tula. (with a crazy cracker expression) Neener neener neener.

Then I zip zap pow zoom right by her. Good girl Tula. No grrs or biteys along the way.

Next part of the lesson, since I'm part cattle dog, I zoom large circles around her. Well Tula is large like that horse Frankie Furter rode the other day. Guess my herding tactics are well intended here.

And POW zoom in close and right past Tula.
Rut Roh.. that's not part of the lesson. She's starting to chase. Whew.. I hope she keeps your training cap on.

Oh course.. appropriate play includes taunting. Nah nah nah.. nordude was here!!!

And back again. Stay Tula while I zoomie at you!

Whoa..... a FREE Tula with no safety face. RUT ROH. We are not at that advanced level yet!

What to do? What to do? Think think! Ahh play dead.

Phew... And that's my appropriate social play training with Tula.
Who's next?
See you all at 11pm GMT or 6pm Eastern Standard Time! Feel the PAWER!

daredevil funballs

hi every bloggie!

First of all, so sorry about my absence this week. My blog assistant has been sick with a head cold and then that work thing seemed to put my bloggin at a stand still. uggh. But now we are back. Wahoo.

So most of you know my cousin Tula Monstah is a reactive dog. We finally played together for the 1st time and now it seems to be a regular after grad skool activity. After class we head over to Lake Boon for funballs. Tula still gets her safety gear on.. pawtee hat aka muzzle, long lead, etc. I, on the other hand run free as a jail bird.
In fact mom says I have one of these cards in my pocket at all times. You see... that's me. Running loose and fancy free. I like to call this one " charge like bull"
And Miss Tula Monstah all safed up.. meanwhile I do my best neener neener neener

Yep some might say I'm taunting Tula with daredevilish acts. And Miss Khyra and Tula think I break all the rules. The game is not fair. Wait a minute! Instant replay please! See for yourself!

Huh? I don't know what your talking about! What's wrong with pulling a nutty.
Hee hee.. oh mom thought this was a super kool foto of me so she's posting it again.
Tahdah. Catch me if woo can

a furry big deal!

hi every bloggie!

A furry big deal? What you ask? Well you see my cousin Tula is working furry hard in grad skool to learn that woo don't have to grr and get mad at all dogs. In fact, I've been working closely with her so some day we can play together.

Well after grad skool, I decided to take a trip to Lake Boon to cool off after a furry hard day working on my master's degree in refined conductology. I was minding my own business ......

And then all of a sudden - here comes tula! She came dressed for a pawtee wearing her pawtee hat (aka muzzle) just in case she got carried away. She is a large marge you know being 100+ lbs. You see it's been awhile since she's pawteed with anyone up close. Hmm she's checking me out with a hard stare.. rut roh shake it off. shake it off.

We got it right on video- you are witness to our first play pawtee!

Then I resumed my regular goofball activities.
Neener neener- aaahh not quite sure- but neener neener!

Tula doesn't swim so Fun Aunt Dee had to play lasso with her.
Look Ole!
Umm FAD (fun aunt dee) wanted me to share this video... see my face. I'm covered in sand. She had a problem with it. But lookie ! me and tula getting along just fine. She even took off her pawtee hat!

Now that's a furry big deal!
