daredevil funballs

hi every bloggie!

First of all, so sorry about my absence this week. My blog assistant has been sick with a head cold and then that work thing seemed to put my bloggin at a stand still. uggh. But now we are back. Wahoo.

So most of you know my cousin Tula Monstah is a reactive dog. We finally played together for the 1st time and now it seems to be a regular after grad skool activity. After class we head over to Lake Boon for funballs. Tula still gets her safety gear on.. pawtee hat aka muzzle, long lead, etc. I, on the other hand run free as a jail bird.
In fact mom says I have one of these cards in my pocket at all times. You see... that's me. Running loose and fancy free. I like to call this one " charge like bull"
And Miss Tula Monstah all safed up.. meanwhile I do my best neener neener neener

Yep some might say I'm taunting Tula with daredevilish acts. And Miss Khyra and Tula think I break all the rules. The game is not fair. Wait a minute! Instant replay please! See for yourself!

Huh? I don't know what your talking about! What's wrong with pulling a nutty.
Hee hee.. oh mom thought this was a super kool foto of me so she's posting it again.
Tahdah. Catch me if woo can

stumped!

hi every bloggie!
Oh boy I can't wait to share this post with you. But first things first. Seems my blog assistant's battery died and it took a good week to re-charge it now so I will be making my visits shortly and posting again. Geez! My sincere apologies for the interruption of my bloggie services.

Now to the good stuff. My dog bloggie pal Stumpy came to visit me all the way from dirtville! She drove like a gazillon miles from the desert to hang out in Massachusetts to see family & friends and I was included on her list!! * warning this is a super long post b/c we took tons of fotos.

Oh yes.. the initial greet. Stumpy quickly told me she is the boss but you know me...
I tried to dazzle her with my infamous roaching so she can check out my goods.
I brought my harry funballs and red ball so we could have fun! Look at her fly! whoa!
I think she really loves the grass.. look at Stumpy prance and leap!
Hey I got harry funballs the chase is on....
and on... into the frog pond
I'm gonna get woo!
hee hee I'm right on your tail!
She's a slippery one but still at it!!!
Okay.. the humans had to stop us for a foto opportunity! Tahdah!
Whoo hoo we wanna have more fun are we done yet?
Okay now to the field. Wait a minute! More foto shooting! I think she's starting to like me... look at her smile.
So I took Stumpy to the river trail and showed her my frog hunting skills.
Stumpy joined the fun. Can't do that in dirtville- that's for sure.
Then a return of the chase.
Wait.. I'm gonna play hard to get now.

Yep it worked! now she's chasing me. Oh how the tables have turned.

I sure how Stumpy stays in MA awhile. We had lots of funballs.
And... you can see- I had a REAL good time.

zzzzzzzzzzzz accomplished! Thanks for visiting Stumpy! Hopefully we'll have another romp around before you leave! Dog with Blog friends Rock!!!!!

pre-snow adventures

hi every bloggie
This post is PS-pre-snow. You see in Massachusetts we have crazy schizoprhenic weather. One day it's almost 70 degrees then the next day or maybe even the same day it'll snow. Well, two weekends ago, it was 70. Unbelievable for December weather.
Any who, since mom was training for her race- I acting as her personal trainer- took her for a jaunt of my own. It was a beautiful day.. take a look at our views.
Where I live it's like your in the woods but not in the woods. Okay... enough breaks.. let's go.
We ran by the Juniper Hills Golf Course.. I'm sure these guys couldn't believe they were golfing in December. (and in shorts)
Then we ran by this place. It seemed to be a popular spot today.
People swarming in and out of the trees. I did them a great service and left a few norwood notes on a select few.
Then I went about my business picking out one for my own. Since I'm a fan of Charlie Brown.. I prefer these little guys.
What do you think? Close your eyes... an voila!
I think it'll be perfect. Now time to get back.
Ahhh! The finish line.. look! The park is ALL mine.
Post run stretches... okay maybe not stretching. I can't go a day without being a cracker dog.

destination nutsville

Hi Every Bloggie!

Pardon my recent absence from blogging! Saturday morning I was awoken by a 3:50am alarm! Huh what was going on?? I had a suitcase packed and we quickly hit the road.

Look! This ain't right. It was pitch dark for awhile then the sun rose behind us.
I really wasn't sure where I was going and what was going on.
I was a bit dazed and confused. That's why I'm all a blur.
We made a few stops where strange things greeted us. Why would a bear greet us? I think he looks more like a beaver anyways.
The day was bleak, damp and cool. But even at these rest stops, I caught a whiff of a deer.
and it set me in devil dog mode. I tried to dash towards it in the field. Geez.. why not? I needed to stretch my legs.
The welcome center in PA was surrounded by vineyards but NO vino for sale. Ahem, you know who was a bit disappointed.
Then more and more hours of my excellent co-piloting. 12 hours to be exact.
Finally, I had to take over. I do have my backseat driver's license.

Our destination? I ventured to a place filled with nuts! Yep. Buckeye Nation- Columbus Ohio- terrority of the Ohio State University Buckeyes. I don't care what mom says, that Brutus Buckeye looks creepy.

I immediately did a proper "norwood" style greeting to my Ohio friend Bethy and
a heeler hug to Kenichi. I know they are going to enjoy my visit.

PS... I'll catch up on your bloggies soon. I'm sorry I haven't been around.
