This week I'm stuck at the kennel. Yep.... I wasn't able to go on a so called "business trip" and was left abandoned. Luckily my day camp staff is around to take care of me. Phew! It was only fair that I made a person (who will remain nameless- ahem) take me to the frog pond before my confinement. I needed one last fix... one last fix.. a week without mr. frog? I may need an IV drip of frog juice.. you can't quit cold turkey.
No splishy splash of long legs flinging into the water to hide under the lily pads? Okay- must find mr. frog.. I need ahem.. I'm sweating... need my fix.
Okay new spot.. yeppers I heard a loud "EEEEE" kerplop! I think I found him.
See him See him! How silly.. he thinks he's hiding.
See him See him! How silly.. he thinks he's hiding.
Whoo hoo yeah baby... but he slipped away from me. Oh well that was the fix I needed. I hopefully make it through the week.
I want to give ribbet shout outs to my bloggie pals Bruce the Cat, Paco,Milo & Maya , Baby Rocket & Hootie, Miss Khyra and all who post your frog sightings! I get all green about it. Hee hee. And I hope to hop over to all your blogs by the end of the week. It's hard to blog during my confinement.. although you can keep me company by watching me at day camp
Yesterday Brucethecat was watching and saw a big huge frog -check it out. Ridiculous. I was running for my life.
Toodles!

ReplyDeleteGlad you got your fix in before you had to go to Day Camp. Be strong, Norwood. You know absence only makes the heart grow frogger, I mean fonder!
ReplyDeleteI woulda liked seein' that frog up close and personal myself
Hope you get treated like the royal dog you are at camp this week!
Chester ;0=)
Too bad you can't bring the frog with you to the kennel - he might have lots of fun playing hide and seek with you and all your furiends.
ReplyDeleteOK, we are off to see if we can see you at daycamp.

Glad you saw that froggie before your Mom left on her business trip Norwood. She sure got some cool shots of him! What a chase for you! Don't worry, the week will go by so fast & you'll have so much fun with all your friends at day camp & your Mom will be back before you know it. Don't worry though, cuz all your blogger friends have your back...we're here for you buddy!
ReplyDeleteyour pal,
Bruce:)
Don't think of it as a kennel, think of it as vacation from your human. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun and Mr. Frog will be there when you returnl If you get some withdrawals see if one of the humans taking care of you can ribbet for a while ;-)
ReplyDeleteWe'll look for you on the camp link.

I hope your confinement goes quickly and your reuniting will be a big frog toy ~
ReplyDeleteOoh here those frogs are called hippities! Our back yard is like a hippity farm. I'm not allowed to play with them as they make me foam at the mouth and sometimes throw up, but oooh, how I love me some hippities!
ReplyDeleteHi Norwood
ReplyDeleteYou always with your frogs .... LOL
I send you a toy frog than you can play the whole day with your froggie ;)

Norwood your frog obsession is kind of crazy! I kind of love Frogs myself! You sure have a great mom to pay a lot of money for your doggy day care. Africa would be in heaven with all of those dogs. That is a lot random thoughts and incomplete sentences I just had.
ReplyDeleteKasha and Africa
They don't bring in frogs just for you at camp? I thought that would be in the care packages that your humans are sending every day.
ReplyDeleteHi, Norwood!
ReplyDeleteSure it was great you had your much needed froggie fix!
Someone told me there is a frog someplace in my neigborhood! I am going to look for him and I will tell you if I find him!
Kisses and hugs

ReplyDeleteWe see frogs on our walkies sometimes and we try to catch them. One time Benson picked one up in his mouth and then it started to pee and he spit out so far - it was a flying frog. Funniest thing EVER...
