This weekend was absolutely beautiful. Clear skies, 70 degrees, and fall is coming. Yep I took some leaf peeping preview fotos. I hit the Berlin Apple orchards, peaked at the equine center and ran along the Assabet River trail to check out the views. Go ahead.. peep at my slideshow. It only gets better. About mid October we should be in peak leaf peeping mode.
Hands down! There is no better place to be in the fall than New England! Leaf Peeping season is underway.
I'm nutso about it! It's another favorite of mine! For my dogpal Africa who asked me to post about my favorites! That's number two!

we thought we could almost make out the shape of a frog in that close-up autumn leaf shot....the holy frog ghost maybe, because we've heard he really exists...

Ahhh, the time of year we most miss New England. All those gorgeous colors. We do get color here in the Midwest, but not like back in MA. And apples, Mom loves a good Macintosh, but the ones here are too soft, not crispy at all.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the memory. Beautiful photos.
Woos, the OP Pack
Norwood, you're just like Bruce...you and he are our inspiration! So glad that you & your Mom have so much love to share with one another! I'm getting excited because this Saturday night I get to fly to TX to see Jesea & her husband & of course her family of animals (oliver, targa, pena & twiggy). I'm counting down the minutes...already bought treats to bring to my grandkitties & doggies:) Animals like you, Norwood, make this world a much nicer place. Tell your Mom thank you for spreading the joy & for bringing a few more laughs into my life.
