shadow shot sunday- stinky edition

I missed last week, but not this time. It's shadow shot sunday! Today's post is right in line with the theme of my week. Stinky. Huh? How can I capture a stinky shadow shot?! Well I found just the place. Come on and follow me.

(oh- just want to mention I'm feeling kinda handsome in this profile shot)

Ready- let's go. Remember I move fast. We're headed along the Hobbs Brook Trail again. I was here once before . The trail is right behind the wayside inn which is a famous historic stop along the Boston Post Road a super old road.

Yoohoo- let's go please. While walking over the boardwalk, you can look down to see lots of frogs take their mud spa treatments here.

Rut roh next is the railroad track bridge? Remember? Okay DON"T look down here. Just keep moving and walk straight.

Well I stopped to snap a shot from the railroad bridge. It's a bit scary since you can see thru it while you walk over the brook. Eeeuuu!

Okay We're almost at the shadow shot spot but I'm hot. Time for a dip.

It's a beautiful day! You can come in too! Just take your clothes off! Ha just kidding. Yep.. I'm just gonna take a minute to see if any peeps of mine, I mean peepers are around. I'll only be a minute.

Alright. Shake off and now ready.. here's my stinky shadow shot for sunday!

Can you believe this pooper shack is right in the shadows of the trees along the trail!!

I bet it smells worse than me! Whew! A shadowy poop hole! Eeeeuu!

shadow shot sunday is full of hot air today

hi every bloggie!

Sorry I haven't been around much but see this guy in the first foto- that's my grampy. He's visiting me all the way from Wisconsin so I've been showing him all my funball spots.

So this morning I took the old man to a really cool event- the Hudson Hot Air Balloon fest to watch the lift off. And guess what! I got some really cool sunday shadow shots too! (at end of this post). Sit back, relax and get ready to enjoy flying the friendly norwood skies!

Wow lookie! Look what hot air can do! I know a few humans that could fill one up- can't tell I'm pointing at him can you? Oh..oops bad dog.

Bad dog looking super cool- I look cool don't I? Oh your here to see the balloons. Oops

Then we watched as it heated up! I didn't get too close! Don't want to singe my signature eyebrows.

Oh maybe too close. I'll back up.

Okay they look like they're ready to fly!

Ready? hit play to see the hot air balloon filler up session and lift offs! (apologies in advance-it is an iPhone video so not crispy clear)

I don't know if you noticed, but the balloons are set up right in front of my frog pond!

I bet these see all the peepers from up there! I should've hopped in for a ride. Hey wait wait for meeeeeeee!

Now it's time! Time for the shadow shots!

Ooooeeeuuueeooooo! That one almost went into the frog pond. Now just hovering over but cool shadow.

shadow shot sunday- #116 dog free

hi every bloggie!

Once again it's time for shadow shot sunday! Today I'm bit disappointed. Why you ask? See the sign below. This is a dog shadow free post today. Phewy! Whoopdeedoo.. the sign made shadows.

Oh and of course.. my blog assistant posted her pic. She did an evening race- Running with the Wolves.. OOOoooeewwwoo. Big deal.. her shadow.

Figures.. fun aunt dee the copy cat. Oh well they are twins but aunt dee says mom copied her. Oooooweeewoooo. big deal. Her shadow too.

Oh then mom was out on the patio of the Horseshoe Pub enjoying adult beverages. Oooweeewooo so the beer sat between the line shadows. Come on.. I can do better than that.

Okay I'll let this shadow shot slide.. nice lines and the beer is nice and frothy.

Aha! I snuck this one in. Shadowy me. In the morning I walk around the local high school and the hallways are creepy with shadows.

shadow shot sunday #115- morning tree shadows

It's time once again for shadow shot sunday! I love trying to find good shadows for every sunday! This week I thought I'd share with you morning shadows. One thing about Massachusetts is there's super tall trees and wooded areas just about anywhere you turn around. So I shall call this post "the morning tree shadows!"

Hmm for those of you who follow me you'll recognize this photo! Yep it's the frog pond. All shadowy from the morning sun. Perfect time for a surprise attack while the frogs are snuggled up along the edge in their mud beds.

And my regular morning walkies takes me along the assabet river trail. The sun is playing peek a boo with me.

neener neener neener.. missed me on this one.

Then I walk across the kissing bridge (if you remember that post) to get to the other side of the assabet river where the trees are super tall and they cast great shadows too! Perfect for shadow shot sundays!

C'est voila... insert me and it's picture pawfect!

Oops and I almost forget to add the next foto.. it's not from my morning walkies but a recent trip to Hopkinton State Park. I thought the trees were a bit spookie in this one but the ground looked like a tic tac board.

shadow shot sunday #114- in the sand dunes

Okay so last weekend as part of my birthday festivities, I headed down to cape cod. Yep, got up nice and early to make fresh paw prints in the sand, catch me a crabby style breakfast and run wild & free in the sand dunes (which technically I'm not suppose to do but... I highly recommend it) Here I am at Chappy (Chapoquoit) Beach! I looked down and noticed shadow dude was here too - pawfect for this week's Shadow Shot Sunday in the Sand Dunes

And I think this one is a bit spooky but I like how it shows off my bell! ching ching ching!

Someone else had to get in the shadow action.

But now for the best part. Lookie here! We walked along the board walk! Shadow dude didn't give me much space. Alright ears up!

Now ears back- travel mode

Ears up! Huh? This could be a Vegas act.
