anything labs can do, i can do better

hi every bloggie!

See this! That's me and dumb PeeWee in grad skool. He's hosting that "what's great about being a black labradork contest". I was very suspicious- what is so great about a black labradoink? They all look the same. There's a zillion of them in my day camp. I had to look it up for myself. Evefurbody wants one.

Let's see.... Here's what I found googling.

The Lab has the reputation of being one of the most sweet-natured breeds, and it's well deserved. He's outgoing, eager to please, and friendly with both people and other animals. Aside from a winning personality, he has the intelligence and eagerness to please that make him easy to train . Training is definitely necessary because this breed has a lot of energy and exuberance. The working heritage of the Lab means he is active. This breed needs activity, both physical and mental, to keep him happy. There is some variation in the activity level of Labs: some are rowdy, others are more laid back. All thrive on activity.

Okay Gimme a break! What's the big deal about being a labradork!

Is large and bouncy, with an enthusiastic attitude toward life

Has a cheerful, tail-wagging nature

Thrives on exercise and athletic activities

Is peaceful with other animals

Is eager to please and responsive to training

Is steady-tempered with everyone
Norwood

Then the internet stated, if that's what your looking for- A Labrador Retriever may be right for you.
Gimme a Break!

So it comes down to this for us non-labs out there, to be a labradork or not to be! Click play.

Huh? That was strange. Oh well, I may not be a labradork but I sure got some in me. And it was fun singing with Dexter.

You can still enter to win the contest! The last day to enter PeeWee's stoopid contest is tomorrow!

  1. Norwood, I love that last video! I had no idea you had such a distinguished sounding voice. I think we're both better off not being labradorks!

That end video is brillant! We loved it so much!

Labrador retrievers make up about90% of the dogs trained here with IGDB but I'm always trying to persuade them to use a few more doodles!

That was an inspired post - wonderful!

We think you are squandering your talents by dancing with the chipndales... you should be on the stage!

We're with you about the labradorks, nothing special going on there AND they do all look the same!
