mass central rail trail walkies

hi every bloggie!

I hope every bloggie is having a great weekend. Before the steamy hot jungle weather hit this week, I got to hit a new trail. It's part of the Rails to Trails network. Mom happens to love this network of trails. They are great for running, walking and bike riding. If you are not familar with it, check it out. They are located in every state.

Okay okay. Can woos tell I'm excited? Come come come on!

Tadah! We are at the trail head of the Mass Central Rail Trail in West Boylston, MA. Most of the trail is dirt and pretty flat- which is amazing in this area. It's located right off the Wachusets Reservior. That means strict rules about being in or near the water.

I took a minute to enjoy the fall colors along the river. Ahh.

Of course no walkie is complete without you joining me. Ready!

You can't tell but acorns and leafers were dropping right on my peanut head. Doink! Fall hazards.

I even met a super kool dude name Mingus. He was some sort of australian shepard blue merle mix. He was a laid back dude that wanted stuff from my treat bag. Don't worry - I share.

Remember I told you about the strict rules around the reservoir? Well before you know it, I kept seeing these signs.

Silly folks, I can't read!

I tried to ignore it. I mean really. follow rules! no dogs? Neener neener I'm not listening! Don't worry I didn't break the rules but I really could've used a drink.

Before I leave, here is today's sunday shadow shot!

I thought it was pretty neat.

Overall it was a furry nice time despite those ridiculous signs and no off leash time but that's okay. I guess sometimes I have to follow rules. And I got kool shadow shots too!

  10. Great shadow shots - very clever:) Mom says she really misses seeing the colors of a New England fall, but doesn't miss at all the raking of all those leaves.

Mingus was a cute pupper. And weren't you the nice pupper to share!
