Sky Watch Friday #34- Nor'easter Skies

Last weekend, a Nor'easter snow storm hit the area. I think I was the only one happy to see the snow again.

There's always a calm before the storm. Here's the morning sunrise. I decided to take a peak at the sunrise's reflection over the Assabet River. I wonder if I look far enough over the edge, I can catch mine.  Oh.. stopped by some incessant yelling. No no Norwood.

Can you see it! Snowflakes! Gray snowfilled skies are all around as I romp around Gates Pond. It's a drab dreary winter day.

Oh by the way, that's not a snowy field but the iced over pond I am standing near.  Yep, the ground hog was right. It's still winter.

While walking along the pond trail, the skies were filled with trees. It is very pretty.  And, a great place for me to chase squirrels... when spring comes... if it ever comes.
I thought the wind created a beautiful cascade design over the iced over pond.  Not a good day for swimming but I of course tested it for ice skating.  (no pic of that)
Please enjoy the other Sky Watch Friday photos

  5. Love the chronicles of Norwood - and life in the NorthEast. Still raining in CA ... I hear our water levels are 50% of normal - so that's a GOOD thing.
