fall fell part two

hi every bloggie!
Fall is done. I thought I'd show you a bit more evidence.
Look at my park. The trees have some explaining to do. Okay okay I will admit I love to crunch the leaves. Plus you can hear the squirrels much better.
Look into the sky... it's cross stitched with branches.. no leaves.
Oh here are a few.. brown spotted... not as pretty but hanging on as long as they can.
The river is more of a blah blah brown. Sorry Brownie.. I like brown but on you with a hint of pink.
Some trees replaced their leaves with berries. I thought that was a nice compromise.
I tried to capture the leaf falling. Can't tell.
Hello hellllooooo! Yep pine overtakes the landscape.
But it does add a nice scent to the air.
And of course my blog assistant had to get in a few leaf shots. If that's what trips her trigger.
It's like their falling on you!
Okay now about me.. my eyebrows have grown so much this fall. Aunt Dee calls them Andy Rooneys.
oh no..... do I have to show you?
Yep fall is done and bring on the mud. The river bank receded and left it all muddy. I don't mind.. My friend Kasha wears mud boots too!
Mom will just have to get use to it. Toodle loo fall!
This post is a bit long but if you want to see all my fall fell shots, watch the slide show.

Loved the shot with the red berries. Did you eat any of them???
About that mud... did your mom make you stand in a tub of water when you got home??? Not a good way to end a grrreat outdoor adventure.

  9. Andy Rooneys? - too funny and clever!!!

The best part about bare trees is that it is so much easier to spot the squirrels after they crunchily make their presence known on the ground. Then we can sit under the tree and watch and wait.

    Great slideshow, Norwood.
